Lower brimstone is the only place that causes a CTD.

You might want to disable all mods and see if the error persists (just move them all in a temporary folder outside of the data folder). If it still crashes you have corrupt savegame. If not you should activate your mods in batches(be aware of dependencies) and see if it works. If yes, go on with the next batch, until you find the one that is causing it.
