nif optimizer Difficulties with SSE NIF Optimizer

Hey everyone,

Since the thread for carboncats hoods is pretty much dead and I'm still trying to desperately follow the advice of Rogg in the thread, I have to start a new topic.

I tried using Nif Optimizer to get his mod working for legendary edition, but it just won't work.

I know how to use Nif Optimizer, or at least knew how to use it, until I switched from NMM to Vortex. 

My problem with the optimizer is that it can't seem to find the meshes of the hood in my folders. I tried to find them in the steamapps skyrim folder and the vortex mod folder on my pc but everytime I open the mesh folders for the hood, the NIF files never show up.

When I copy and insert them manually into the optimizer's browse window and try to convert them back to LE, the log always says '[INFO] 0 file(s) were found.'

Any help?
