[Defeat] [Death Alternative] Issue

Pretty much always the case:

Health Hits 0

Bleedout Defeat Triggers

Defeat Occurs

Defeat Ends

Trauma animation from Defeat Afterwards

Bleedout Health appears for a second

Death

It feels like DA at some point is always skipping Blackout events and going straight to death.

Blackout events always on: Animal Quest, SD Creature Ens, SD Falmer Ens, Defeat Left For Dead, Defeat Rescue

Blackout events that I mixed and matched on also with the above events: Default Quest, Unconscious Death, 

 

Im dying near Solitude, but sometimes (im thinking its related to default quest) after defeat, it will blackout me to the docks, however slightly floating but unmovable.

 

However, Ive noticed that defeat on bleedout doesnt work sometimes also, just straight death a second on bleedout.

DA should be set to trigger at 15%. Also make sure the "Extra health buffer" is active and set to at least 700%. That will protect you from crits that might knock you down below zero HP. Set Animations to Bleedout only. Remember to activate Defeat in the Bleedout section and make sure its number is higher than "Necromatic Absorption."

Alright, appreciate the response, and I'm going to use those settings, but im now running into the issue that defeat isnt even triggering anymore, just bleedout, enemies get bleedout hp to 0 then death, so now the confusion kicked in.

 

Edit: Nvm I fixed the bleedout not triggering defeat issue, but yeah even with your recommended settings, still getting a death afterwards, Is DA for some reason think none of the blackout events are currently valid? because I don't see why at least some of the blackout events I have enabled wouldn't fit the requirements.

I'm not even sure if it is an issue, that's the problem, I think DA's events either in certain areas or other conditions just prevents seemingly obviously triggerable events from going and skips right to on Death which is most likely a "true death"

 

I think the best solution is if DA had more onDeath scenarios, I think it would be nice if there was a unquestionable second check for SD enslavement as onDeath events also.
