Nite_Star Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Hi all, Decided to update my Lovers PK. Now I have a problem with animation either a file or files are missing and I have no clue as to what one or ones, I will say this is the problem that has made me stop updating Lovers PK and have used the same one since I got it in 2011, I have tried to update the 200 or #8 file from the daedra sutra but still get this message, any help please. Attached Pic of problem, Just noticed in wrong section, please admin put in right part off the site.
gregathit Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 1. Make sure you have a number 8 ini file in oblivion\data\ini\ 2. Make sure you have EIGHT number 8 kf files in Oblivion\Data\meshes\characters\_male\Idleanims\ani2 Doubtless you are missing one or more files in those locations. Lovers requires that animations 1-10 be in place or it will spit those types of errors at you.
Nite_Star Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 Thanks Greg checked the locations you have said and here is what I have, What I have put down here is what is in the ani2 folder 08_DefMotionx0.kf 08_DefMotionx1.kf 08_DefMotionx2.kf 08_DefMotionx3.kf 08_OffMotionx0.kf 08_OffMotionx1.kf 08_OffMotionx2.kf 08_OffMotionx3.kf in the data ini folder I have 08_Motion
gregathit Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Ok, now go and check that you have the same stuff for motion 200.
Nite_Star Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 ini folder has, 200_Motion ani2 has 200_DefMotionx0.kf 200_DefMotionx1.kf 200_DefMotionx2.kf 200_DefMotionx3.kf 200_OffMotionx0.kf 200_OffMotionx1.kf 200_OffMotionx2.kf 200_OffMotionx3.kf So all there, ain't a clue this mod does not like me lol....
gregathit Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 You mean: 200_Motion.ini right? Open the ini file with notepad and look at the "set xLoversPkrQuest.sposgroup to" and make sure it is set to 0. Are all 8 motion 200 kf files 80kb (79.4 kb size on disk)?
Nite_Star Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 Thanks Greg found the problem, mainly it is down to the ini file or files, looks like this numpty ballsed it up my end. Seems like when I updated I never removed the OBSE or pluggy save data in my documents\my games\oblivion so when I updated and started a new game, it was reading that data and was not replacing it with new, that is when the warning came up, the alignment of characters was slightly off but never show the error during any scenes. I have re-installed windows last night, but my Oblivion I always have a complete game backup on my 2tb HDD. So if animations go wrong I can just drag and drop. So a fresh install of the game, and I deleted my whole mydocuments\mygames\oblivion folder and have now run it with no error at all. Many thanks Greg seems like you was the only one who read and understood was I was asking, and was the only one wanting to help...
