Hello everyone! My name is Elizabeth! The Writer, Coder and Director of the Danganronpa 1 Nude Mod! I am very happy to announce that Version 0.0.4 is now up! Although this is a very early version, I do want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who have been excited for this project from the start! We are a long ways from the end, but this is a huge first step in the right direction! Below you can find the Update Log, download link, bug log and credits. 3.Locate your Trigger Happy Havoc Files. Usually located in Steamlibrary-common-Danganronpa:Trigger Happy havoc

4.Apply dr_data_patch to dr_data

I messed around with sprite editing a while back after coming across this mod. I saw OP's files and used that as a base for adding my own stuff (unsurprisingly, I didn't get very far).

I skimmed through whatever files were still saved on my PC, but unfortunately I couldn't find the original patch from SPW. I did manage to salvage my own patch though, which pretty much still has all of her sprites as well. I don't believe it's the most recent release she made (all of her socials and patreon had dead links even back then). How can I apply the patch? apparently my game doesn't have any files named "dr_data" or "dr_data_us". I tried with the "dr1_data.wad" and "dr1_data_keyboard.wad" files, but they don't seem to match the patch files in xdelta. Do I need another version of the game?

The Steam directory has 4 wad files. The two you want to select are "dr1_data.wad" and "dr1_data_us.wad"

I have no idea why the OP (@Sexyprincesswriter) named the patches like that. I just followed what she did, but its a bit confusing that the filenames dont match.

I've been thinking about playing this game again and wondered if there was a nude mod or something. Is it possible to just have the naked guys and not the girls? Or is it an all or nothing for the mod?

I believe there has been other DR projects posted elsewhere but they were strictly female focused.

 

As far as males, it's been a pipe dream of mine for a very long time. I have done work on sprites for both DR1 and DR2 males, but not to the point of a completed mod. I've also reached out to some well known DR fan artists about specifically commissioning this kinda work, but given the workload its not really feasible for them.

 

I have worked on Makoto, Leon, Taka, Hiro, Fuyuhiko, and a bit of Soda and Hajime. The sprites from my original upload in this thread were mostly reused from the OP. I have never compiled a mod with my own sprites.

 

Sadly with not much community interest in male mods specifically, there hasn't really been anything pushing me to work on it. 

 

 

As for your actual question, yes it's possible. I dont have the unpacked files anymore so you would probably need to unpack the patch and manually remove all of the edited female sprites. That said, I don't really recommend it. The male content is barebones T.T not worth the effort

I really don't know how to unpack and repack the mod files. Sadly. I don't mind that its barebones. Honestly. It is sad that not many games get male nude mods. I certainly love them. And I know there are people who want them. Oh well. I was hoping to at least get the main character, Makoto, naked in like the trials or something.

Mlplottery here! For a while, a friend and I have had an idea for a potential Danganronpa nudist rewrite that isn't your typical nudity, but the Adam & Eve kind. Aka: What if Junko Enoshima erased all memories related to modesty? This means text will change and a few plot points as well.

 

Recently, another friend told me about this thread that I already knew existed, but it turns out it's now active again, and you know what they say about striking while the iron's hot.

 

So far, I've started a WIP literature of the nudist rewrite, and one of the things I would like to include is CG illustrations. If possible, I could even turn it into a mod, but that would require tons of on-model nude sprites to be commissioned for a boatload of money. Anyone wanna help? At least for the CG illustrations, but I do wanna add fake screencaps showing nude sprites if possible.

A mod like that for a game this old is really something you should only do if you want it for your own enjoyment. Of course share it with the community if you end up doing it. But there isn't enough of an interest in mods for this game. I doubt anyone's going to sign on to help you. Still. I wish you good luck. I know I love male nude mods for any game I play. This one included. I'm sure their will be people who'll be happy if you end up making a mod of any kind.

The only one I know is Chen_DR, but they told me they aren't really into the whole naturalizing the cast thing, which also goes for most of their friends and followers. They're also too busy and recommended that the edited CG illustrations part could be condensed into key moments in the game.

Lots of mods don't worry about the CG illustrations. Just editing the sprites you see most of the game and in most conversations. As finding an Artist for the CG illustrations is likely to be rather difficult. How about focusing on getting the rest of the mod done first. And worry about them for a future version of the mod? I don't know any artists myself. Much less ones who draw in this style. Maybe check Rule 34 sites for artists that have drawn nsfw images of this game before in the style. And see if any of them do commissions or such? Would be the only idea I have honestly.

Is there a way to unpack an xdelta file without the game? Or do I need the game to unpack them? I watch playthroughs of Danganronpa, but I still wanna unpack the edited nude sprites and CGs.
