ragnam Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Hi All, I was making a CosioHD body Slider preset. When I generated the Body NIfs the Clothes and Body would match 100% in game for the NPCs. However When I switched to a Female PC, my PC body was close but some sliders were wacky. After several attempts I tried disabling CBBE Racemenu Morphs esp and seemed to help since I was using my custom CosioHD preset. however the shape still did not match? I noticed the NPCs was a NORD race and my PC was an imperil Race. So I then changed my PC to Nord race as well and then the CosioHD body started to look properly like my CosioHD preset. I never noticed that the output body Meshes actaully are effected by what race is selected, has any one else come across this issue? Seeing this makes me wonder why so many people create custom follower mods saying their NPC is an Imperial or such, but the ESP actual has them created on a NORD race in CK. Since there is only one output set female body 0 and 1, I can only conclude its the various race skeletons Imperial, Nord, kajitt, Ashen and such that they alter the shape some how when the Body meshes gets applied to them. I am still tweaking my Presets but now wonder if it would be best to make them all Nord Races I have a lot of Follower NPCs I need to redo after a bunch of modders pulled there assets off of Nexus and stuff, would be dumb to have true eyes as a dependent when new people cant get that mod or many of the other pulled mods. CosioHD weight 0 , 50 and 100 I just did not want to make Various Race type custom NPCs if BodySlider Studio output meshes hang differently on the various skeleton Races. like slim shape hips on a Nord and the same FemaleBody 0 and 1 output generated files hang like a bubble butt on an Imperial, I dont want to be redoing these NPCs a 3rd time. below an example of the issue, at the time I did not know but know now, the PC was an Imperial race and the NPC was a Nord race in the images from the same Slider output file Question, Does the various Race Skeletons cause this effect to warp the same body meshes, or did I miss something??????

By default all races, NPC or Player, use the same skeleton and same body meshes. The only physical difference with race is height (scale) If you have a custom race, custom (standalone with their own skeleton) followers or a mod that seperates the vanilla races assets into seperate directories then this will cause an issue. I can't say that I see much difference between the two in the images you've supplied, they certainly look like the same preset so I don't believe they're using different assets. Suggest posting a Load Order. See if anyone else can see a cause.

This helps me confirm what is is and what it is not the only thing left is the PC waist was half as thick as the NPC waist, and both were wieght 0 in that image, when put to 100 the PC one exploded to a bubble butt hips I think it was mainly having the RacemenuCBBEMorphs.esp activated changing the players body slides in ShowRaceMenu distorting the shape some from what morph esps were active. I will have to test if I should have COS morph on or off as well with CosioHD, but That I can figure out so enough. Now I feel relieved to (redoing my MODs) pushing forward pumping out custom NPCs and followers again.
ragnam Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 Ok I think there is an issue with racemenu saving presets and loading them I will try to make this as simple as possiable. A year ago I had about a dozen Female presets saved, Nord Imperial red gard and ETC ETC. The body at the time I was using CBBE Curvy. I disabled CBBE and COS racemenu morphs. Now that I am using CosioHD when opening racemenu I see the CosioHD body and try to load some of the old Presets to touch up the female faces, the CosioHD Body gets some extra data loaded on the body morphing a CosioHD 7b looking shape to a Bubble butt CBBE Curving shape.Issue one would think Presets would only save the FACE and weight and or sculpted for face edits "AND" the body would be just the default game body that has been set as the default game body.work around My fist thought was try to edit the Preset files and remove any left over morph slide data, but there is no in that nif or .NPC file. Sadly the files had no body shape data in the face file preset saves from racemenu. So the only thing left is open racemenu with the CosioHD body and only LOOK at the preset file selection preview without loading it and then manually modify the edits back in from scratch in the new body I have. --- so be it --- Butt even if any one does take the time to say make a preset to share, one would only think they are sharing just face selection data but some how somewhere body data gets in the preset face files? To prove that to my self, I have my CosioHD body , loaded the only face done on a CBBE cury and the body changed. Then I got crazy and loaded an even older Unp preset and even that one came up with a 3rd slighty altered body from the cosio or cbbe body. They are NOT DRASTIC slide changes, but it is happening and that kind of proves a point to my self when I last load a latest CosioHD preset face and the body returns properly to the shape intended. so imagine when a person save a UUNP pretty face and uploads to share, and then a CBBE or 7B user downloads it to use it and it slightly modify s the body shape when it should not be doing that at all, and shuold only be change face stuff and not a tid bit of body shape at all. Now it makes sense when users complain "hey my body do look right any more" --- Just my 2 cents I am sharing to be mindful of it.
ragnam Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 When body do not match properly loading saved PC presets, Sculpt and faces. Well the SPF NAME, is a DDS < color face exported sculpt is a NIF < facemesh modification exported preset must be the culprit retaining old body sliders and does not use the default body file when reloading them a year later So when opening an file.NPC and viewing it as XML I see ----- Sex:F Race:00013744 Slider0:-0.500000 Slider1:0.000000 Slider2:-0.400000 Slider3:-0.400000 Slider4:0.000000 Slider5:-0.400000 Slider6:0.000000 Slider7:-0.300000 Slider8:0.100000 Slider9:0.000000 Slider10:-1.000000 Slider11:0.100000 Slider12:0.400000 Slider13:-0.600000 Slider14:-0.400000 Slider15:-1.000000 Slider16:-0.240000 Slider17:0.000000 Slider18:340282346638528860000000000000000000000.000000 Preset0:1 Preset1:-1 Preset2:12 Preset3:15 HairColor:67000801 Weight:100.000000 Height:1.000000 Complexion:00051648 HeadPart:0005161D HeadPart:0005150F HeadPart:000EC1B2 HeadPart:00040228 HeadPart:E9002E29 HeadPart:790038E5 TintMask0:00AAB3B9:1.000000 TintMask1:007C7C00:0.745098 TintMask2:00522A21:0.219608 TintMask3:005254A9:0.447059 TintMask4:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask5:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask6:00333301:0.572549 TintMask7:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask8:005254A9:0.466667 TintMask9:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask10:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask11:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask12:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask13:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask14:FF000000:1.000000 TintMask15:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask16:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask17:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask18:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask19:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask20:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask21:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask22:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask23:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask24:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask25:FFFFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask26:003D1807:0.686275 TintMask27:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask28:00FFFFFF:0.000000 TintMask29:00FFFFFF:0.000000 ---- Q. Is there any legend that shows which slider value or line items value goes towards what area of the body, I would assume some sliders are for eye width or height but do not see anything that would alter a body shape from the default body files. I am wondering about slider 18, I have a lot of hairs and makeup stuff but doubt I have in the millions of any slider??
