Homilion Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 First of all sorry if this isn't the right place but it felt wrong to post it in Tecnical Support as it's trouble with an add-on not the game itself. That said after upgrading SD I loaded my game and it told me a new version on SKSE was required so as many times before I updated this time to version 1.6.9 that was still compatible with Skyrim 1.8.151 as I'm not in the test for the 1.9 beta. Followed the readme in the SKSE page (I don't think there was one before) and launched the game using NMM. This is were my trouble starts SKSE opens and closes as usual but Skyrim doesn't start even when the task manager says TSEV.exe is running as a process. I am currently in the process of downgrading my SKSE but would like to know if anyone knows how to fix this. Edit: Tried to run the SKSE loader directly but it game me the same results.
Rayblue Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 What was the version of update pack you have in there? Was it still 1.8.151.0?
Homilion Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 No, it says 1.8.151.0.7 in game but I thought it would be no trouble considering that SKSE says it compatible with 1.8.151.0.* Edit: Thinking it could be some conflicts with some older mods I tried the game vanilla but it still doesn't work.
Homilion Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Found the Problem! The hdtHighHeelNative plugin is incompatible with the new version and as such won't let the game launch. I deleted it and the game started normally, no idea what effects it will have on my gameplay but at least I can play. As it stands I was using the Alpha 9.4 that is now unsupported moving to Alpha 10.2 and it works.
