Zyphyr316 Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Greetings, I just installed Fallout 4 and was looking forward to using Bodyslide but have ran into an issue. Every time I try to launch it through Mod Organizer 2, it either gives a fatal exception message and crashes or just lags for a bit and crashes. I have the Fallout 4 path pointing to C:\Games\SteamLibrary2\Steamapps\common\Fallout 4\data. Problem is while it's pointing to the data folder, the crashes occur. When I point to any other folder, Bodyslide loads fine except for the inability to see textures (gray all over with "no image"). I have tried to run as administrator however Bodyslide does not load any presets or outfits. I have tried rolling back to previous versions of Bodyslide and reinstalling Fallout 4, Bodyslide, as well as Mod Organizer 2 but nothing changes. Is there something that Bodyslide is trying to detect but cant find? What about is it about the Data folder that could be causing this? Is there an .ini file or another file Ihave to make a change to in order for data to be read/accessed properly? I have searched google, Loverslab, Nexus, as well as Ous' discord server and have found nothing. The Log_BS file is also blank. I also have SkyrimSE and use Bodyslide with MO2 for that but I have not experienced any issue like this with it. Before you ask, no I am not using the SkyrimSE Bodyslide for FO4, I am using the version of Bodyslide for FO4 hosted on Nexus. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

As far as I know MO2 has it own way to have Bodyslide installed here's a video: . hope this helps.

According to that video...the missing textures is supposed to occur? I'm also supposed to be pointing BS not to the Data folder but to the overwrite folder? Is this true? This does not make sense to me, especially after all the times I've used BS for SkyrimSE. Regardless, thank you for this vid. I have never seen it in any of my searches.

Yup that sound's about right as Vortex uses a Virtual install drive, plus also looking at the comments for video your not along in your thinking. Trust me this guy knows what he's talking about.
