is there a way to install SOS with SAM Light or is it impossible ?

i really like sam light body but nearly every mod i have uses SOS in some way or another.

You would probably get better support at Vectorplexus site than here since SAM is only hosted there, from what I know.

 

SOS can work alongside the full version of SAM, as long as you use Schlongs designed for the SAM body. SOS schlongs will have a small gap.

 

However, with SAM light the schlong and body are one, so this wouldn't be so simple.

 

I've successfully used Standalone SAM Light follower (Brann) with SOS by removing the mesh from the Smurf Average .nif file and then applying this too the NPC in the SOS MCM (also making sure the Smurf Average schlong isn't applied to any other NPC) but to do this for the player character you would (I think, I've not tried this) need to install SAM Light first, remove the penis mesh from malebody_0 and malebody_1 with something like nifskope, then install SOS but not have it "overwrite" the bodymeshes or textures from SAM Light.

Then you would probably need the SAM Schlong variants and replace the SOS meshes with these.

 

Edit: There is probably a far better way to do this, the majority of my fixes, for such things, are what are none as bodges.

but i thought SAM full doesn't work for SE ?

You're probably right, I've not looked. I still use LE. I don't think anyone has ported SAM over and VP themselves sadly left Skyrim modding some time ago.

SAM Light was made (and maintained) by Kou.

 

I answered since I don't know how many people here have used SAM or SAM Light to any degree. Most, seem to, just stick with SOS.

 

You have now got me thinking about installing SAM Light, using it's meshes and textures only for the Castanic (custom) race I use, hmm...

btw , i found this https://vectorplexus.com/files/file/267-savrenx-schlong-of-sam-light-hdt-patch/?tab=comments , and i don't really know  what it is, but it does have SOS core files  in it. so i'll try it and see .

Don knows his stuff so that is definitely worth a try.
