Royal Hunting Armor - trying to convert to SE and SMP

Okay, I have been doing this for hours upon hours to no avail. Ive been trying to get "Royal Hunting Armor" converted to Special edition and SMP. I have it converted (kinda) with nifoptimizer, now im just having the stretching of some vertices on the skirt which I have searched and found it is because there are too many bones its asking for. So I followed a guide (this:Ā

) Under the section about stretching. I have separated the vertices to a second partition named it, then went into the xml copied the first partitions info pasted then edited it with the second partitions name and such. But now the skirt is completely invisible. I think the invisibility is coming from me splitting the vertices. I dont know what im doing wrong here.Ā

Ā

If anyone could help me with this, or is a god at this type of stuff and could do it in like two seconds, I would just die of joy. Been trying to get this outfit on SSE for like a year now. My favorite outfit ever and with SMP physics, what more could I ever ask for!? lolĀ

Ā

I dont know if im allowed to post links to certain websites?

Ā

Royal Hunting Armor - Need to convert it from LE to SE and add the SMP files (someone posted the SMP files separately).Ā

Ā

I added a screenshot at the bottom of what is happening after I convert it through Nifoptimizer and add the SMP files to the folder. IM SO CLOSE I CAN TASTE IT! (but so far away from how smart I need to be to figure this out -_-)Ā

Ā

PLEASE IM DESPERATEĀ

In SSE the limit is 80 bones per shape and not per partition. You can open the mesh in outfit studio and mask an area of the shape you want to split and then choose "separate" to split the shape into 2. Bear in mind that you will likely need to define the new shape in the smp xml too.

Yes i have been trying to do that, the guide i linked in the OP explains how to do that step by step. But after i do that the skirt is invisible. It seems to ve much easier said than done which is why i have made a post. Because i have been doing that and failing to create the final result and i dont know where im going wrong. I have already separated the verticies of the object that took 97 bones to a new partition, reducing both under 80 bones. I have saved the file and then edited the xml file. But it has not been successful. I hace went back and checked and retried but still same incorrect results so... I'm at a loss and reaching out for help

So this is what I have going on in BSOS - the one highlighted is the new part that I separated the vertices from the original part (part b and then b2 being the new one) the guide then says to export the file.
