Cannot Get Costume Customiser to work for the life of me.

Well hoping you guys can help me out. I've been trying to get CC to work for Venus Vacation, and nothing is going right. I've downloaded Mod manager for the game and everything went smooth.

I do as it says to Install from the mod manager and this pops up: Image 1

After clicking OK it says that it has been installed successfully. I load the game up and this pops up : Image 2

No manner of playing around or anything can seem to rectify the issue. I hope maybe I'm just missing something, and that you guys will know a simple fix for all this.

Thanks!

Looks like modmanager couldn't install cc from zero. Try to download cc from here:

"CostumeCustomizer_v1.9.5.zip" And extract it in your mod folder. Replace if ask.

@Youdon't

There is some special handling for CostumeCustomizer updates in MM, but I'm not aware of specifically how avenger implemented it and maybe there was a miss on supporting first time installation of it using the manager.

@yayaman78

Anyhow, manual install from scratch is pretty painless, download the "CostumeCustomizer_v1.9.5.zip" and extract it at the root of your DOAXVV Game directory (<Drive>:Steam\steamapps\common\DOAX-VenusVacation" from the look of your screenshot). You can relaunch Mod Manager afterwards to grab mod-packs and things afterwards.

The problem is CC's update.bat and requiring administrator rights for the folder.

@KuroKaze78 First install works fine except this specific scenario. Update.bat should be ran as admin to avoid it.

edit: Looks like the issue is more complicated. We'll work on the fix for it.

1st of all thanks for all the work done, manually installing CC would get past unrecognised entry errors in game, but installing costume packs via online mod manager would still get the access denied error popup with !padfolder in OP, cant find any mods in game with f3 either

Make sure you run Mod Manager as administrator. When you install packs you can ignore !padfolder error for now, it doesn't affect if pack is installed or not. Reload mods ingame with F10, then installed CC packs should appear.

Costume Customizer's path should be \[your_mods_folder]\Costumes\CostumeCustomizer\

Once you have it installed you need to copy the Costume Customizer pack in one of the 01-96 folders inside CostumeCustomizer directory. Then equip the Takao suit ingame, reload mods with F10 and press F3.

Alternatively you can use Mod Manager. I tried to make install and use process as easy as possible. Here's a quick video showing installing and using Costime Customizer:

First of all - you need to install nude textures for girls, for example these

After you equip Takao outfit and press F3 you need to move your mouse over the Fortune icon and press 1. Then it'll switch outfit to Fortune.

Fortune pack is for Common body type only I believe so no Honoka\Marie type bodies supported.

クリックする必要はありません。その上にマウスを置き、キーボードの1を押すだけです。

画面はしっかりと表示されていますが、キーボードのアルファベッオの上の数字を押してもまったく反応がなく、切り替わりません。。

Hi everyone. I got to the point where I can display the menu with F3, and select a tab with Ctrl+1...90 Unfortunately I'm stuck there, pressing the key for a number (not on the numpad) does nothing. I tried combining it with shift, using the numpad, changing the layout (from my default AZERTY to QUERTY), nothing works. Like some German user I also have an issue with the key to the left of 1, mapped to the preset, but that one is no big deal, just symptomatic of a keyboard layout issue. Did anyone found out how to address this issue?

Make sure you have the language pack installed at OS level, I have found the US Language pack works for the ` key to scroll through the presets.
