Madcap Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Hey guys. So I downloaded Mondsteins facial piercings and tried to combine a couple of them so I could have horns on my character along with all the piercings. He said I needed to use Blender to combine them, but when I try to export them from Blender they won't show up in CS, but I can see the meshes in Nifskope. I read somewhere about the Niftools splitting the meshes on export because of the material files or something. But I have no idea how to solve this. If anyone could throw some help my way, or even combine them for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Nephenee13 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Well, they aren't going to "show up" in the CS just automatically. In fact, you probably don't even need to use the CS for what you want to do. Have you tried just naming the exported NIF file to the the same as one of the original meshes, copying it over in your Data files and seeing if it works in the game?

For the original piercings to work, you have to go change the teeth/whatever mesh for the race you're using. So if I want to use more than one set of piercings I have to switch out teeth upper and lower, for example. The exported meshes shows in Nifskope but not ingame, I have no idea what the problem is.
Nephenee13 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Meshes not appearing at all is generally a sign of a texture issue.
Madcap Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 You were right.I feel so stupid, lol. Thank you so much for the help! Also, I just noticed I posted in the download section. I'm sorry about that.
