iSaeko Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 Apologies in advance if this isn't the right place to post asking for CTD help. So, kind of specific here. I've got a problem that if I remove the main body clothing slot (ie, the nude female texture/mesh) when my character is a vampire, I get an instant CTD. If it load up a new game as a non-vampire and don't change anything else, it works fine. I'm using the CBBE 3BBB body. I've tried building the body nif and collision maps with and without racemenu morphs but it makes no difference. Obviously, simple solution is to not be a vampire (it's not super important, just got it as a random start from Live Another Life) but I worry if I ever come across a vampire and accidentally take their clothes it'll be a CTD, or just come across a dead, naked vamp (it can happen with the mods I have). I'm wondering if the Dawnguard vamps or vamps in general use a different body mesh or texture. I've tried removing Fair Skin Complexion to no avail. Full mod list here. I installed Better Vampires to see if it would change anything. it didn't. iSaeko Posted June 2, 2020 Author Posted June 2, 2020 Update: Okay, so it's not a conflict with CBBE by the looks of it. Removed all body mods, loaded up as Vampire (Dawnguard) and same CTD. However, if I'm a regular vampire, no CTD. Maybe something has a Dawnguard patch that I missed.

I installed Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul and started up as a Dawnguard vampire/vampire lord and no longer get the CTD. Though if I load up the save that was crashing, I still get the issue. I have read that starting as a vampire lord through LAL has some issues, some of which I encountered, so I'm going to use a different start point anyway.
