Alexsza Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Was wondering if anyone could link me a tutorial, or maybe give me a tutorial on how to create a mashup and put it in-game. Thanks!
gregathit Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Well, that is a bit vague. Are you just looking to try to cut\paste things via nifskope or looking to go full out with blender?
Guest ThatOne Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 [self-promote] If you want to make mesh-ups in nifskope, check the "- Making Mesh-ups in nifskope -" spoiler in this thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/10838-guide-blender-nifskope/ If you want to use blender, the above thread has some useful tips as well. If anything is unclear, I will be happy to answer any questions in the thread's comments section. [/self-promote]
Alexsza Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Just using NifSkope, gregathit. But, thank you ThatOne!
Nephenee13 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Honestly, it would behoove you to just learn how to use Blender. The NifSkope method is a tad hackish, and heavily dependent on how the original modeler split up their meshes. Its not much harder to learn how to select and separate meshes in Blender, and you have far more control over arrangements in general.

I did the 2 BU packs exclusively with nifskope and let me tell you it was a ROYAL PAIN!!! Had I spend the time to learn blender back then I could have saved myself a lot of frustration!!!
