Insta-crash with no discernable reason

So, a bit of back story. A week ago my old computer went kaput, the power supply died, so I got myself a new gaming tower, so, yay.

 

Anyway, I decided to completely redo Skyrim. I completely uninstalled it, downloaded it again, made sure it worked, which it did, and then proceeded to get mods both from here and the Nexus as well as get back SKSE.

 

After all that work, now Skyrim does the insta-crash, as in it goes past the bethesda logo then promptly CTDs. I've tried unintalling possible culprit mods and I've tried verifying the file cache with Steam, and it seems that even running from the main .exe from Steam doesn 't work. And I know it's not my computer as this is a brand spankin new machine.

 

I'm running Skyrim off of a secondary hard drive if that means anything. It was rescued from the old tower and implanted in this one, so I still have Steam and other things on it.

 

 

It's an even bigger pain ot have a new gaming tower and being unable to play one of the games you got it for >.<
