Z0mBieP00Nani Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I decided to get back into Fallout New Vegas and when I go to start a new game the opening intro scene plays, well.. oddly. What happens is it's like it will play one frame (or part of it) starting in a small borderless window in the upper left of the screen and then behind that small window will be the full frame then it will skip several frames of the into and repeat the process (with the small window in the upper left disappearing in between each "frame" transition). I have no idea what's causing that and it's really annoying. After the intro the game displays fine, so it's just the opening cutscene that plays that way. Â EDIT: One Tweak fixed my problem: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59266
Swanky Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Strange. I thought it might have been a video codec issue as older titles sometimes have issues with video playback if a missing / wrong codec is (not) installed. No idea how Fullscreen is affecting a game / OS configuration, especially for a video. Anyway, here are some codec libraries for Vegas for testing purposes, should the problem persist.
