gt5000 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Are there any tutorials or guides showing how to do it?
L3GION Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Are there any tutorials or guides showing how to do it? I too have asked this question. I have asked Ledo4ek to do a tutorial or something for us but I have gotten no results. He seems to just ignore me. I have 3dsMax and am looking to get into this, I do know Nightasy has a few tutorials but all of them are for the UNP body which I do not use, but I will try to find one.
shedidwhat Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 with Nightasy's 3D max videos the body type does not matter. UNP CBBE its all done the same way in Max ya know the part in Nightasy video when he is rebuilding the armors skin (at 07:00 minute ) fast forward to 07:00 if you have a TBBP skeleton and a TBBP weightpainted female body loaded in Max that the armor is on the TBBP weightpainting will be added to the armor when adding the skin like in the video no matter the body type making the armor a TBBP armor. so a recap , Import a TBBP skeleton then import your TBBP Body of choice then import the armor make the needed mesh edits then do like in the above video. there ya go. "though now, doing your own TBBP weightpainting.. well thats a whole different thing" and no video can show "how" to do it. its like drawing, it takes alot of practice and time and mistakes before you can get something you like. and even longer to get something you feel is releaseable.
Monsto Brukes Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 BE WARNED . . . The tbbp animation, the mod skeletons and mod body meshes will absolutely cause unpredictable behaviour in 3ds Max. It is a fickle bitch on it's period in a snowstorm on the darkside of the moon. I have never gotten the animations to load into max in the correct way. The only ones that do for me are the vanilla ones. So if you manage to get as far as loading the anims into max, and the skeleton bends over sideways, or the animations do funky shit when you play the, all hope is not lost. All you have to do is wait for someone to fix it. Are there any tutorials or guides showing how to do it? No.
shedidwhat Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 monsto I have loaded the TBBP animations in max so I can see how the mesh moves (for checking my weightpainting) what TBBP animations would you like copies of ? or better yet what skeleton are you loading into max ? and I'll convert the TBBP animations with that skeleton. or this is what I use for converting the TBBP animations so they can be loading into Max http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17109/
ilikecake1 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 If you're using blender, you can bone weight copy the bouncing weights onto whatever armor you're using as long as you have a TBBP enabled body mesh to go off of. At least, that's what I've been doing.

I had given up completely before he gave it to me. It was months ago so I don't remember all the exact steps, but I had done all the havok conversion steps. When I did it with the vanilla animations all was well and it worked. when I did it with even cherry's animations, I got error messages and the animations were just completely unhinged. Anyway, I appreciate the offer, absolutely, but i have the animations. If you REALLY want to do the world a favor, take the tbbp upper-body animations, put them on some other lower-body animation and then take the existing tbbp lower-body animation out back and shoot it in the face... or just tone it the hell down. the stripper walk is for the fucking birds.
shedidwhat Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I'll do some more classes (as I have not tried doing any animation edits) but dam this guy puts me to sleep...... Nightasy need to do voiceovers for 3dsMaxHowTo's LOL www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQqoVj_hzA0&list=PL54DFAAA0320637A6
Wardensc2 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I do exactly as the video Nightasy show. I import a tbbp body with skin, remade the armor to fit the new body. After exporting the armor, I play the game. I get a working tbbp armor however I lost all the skin of my follower who wear the armor. Can anyone know how to fix it ?
Wardensc2 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 This is the result after do exactly as in Nightasy video. Can someone help me?
Thorham Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 This is the result after do exactly as in Nightasy video. Can someone help me?There are some things you have to do in Nifskope. If you don't, you'll get exactly the kind of result you showed in your screen shot. Fixing the problem isn't hard, it's just a little annoying. How to fix: And here are all of the tutorials (just in case): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL38C28CE97107F8F3
