UPDATE: "Unnecessary Armors" Discord Server is open now
Please only join if you really want to work together to lewd Monster Hunter World. Don't come on there to "try it out".
EDIT: If you want to join send me a message on loverslab!

I included a lot of stuff that I know of:
1 - The Big Guide (covers Preparation, Importing, Mesh Editing, Armature, Weight Painting, Textures/Materials, CTC Editing, CCL Editing, Exporting/Fixing)
2 - A list of Fixes for Problems and Errors that I ran into
3 - A list of Bugs
4 - Essential Links
5 - Rules on how I want to "lewd" the lore friendly way

Hopefully some of you come by!

Got into Monster Hunter World modding and was able to make some basic lewd armor edits with the permission of the authors to use the High Poly Nudemod and Futa Mod.
My plan is to work through every god damn armor and bring something unnecessary nudity into mhw with a big variety of tiddies and bottom parts-

why? i finish mhw 5 times on ps4 now, its time for a change

Let me say this BEFORE I talk about the problems because its important to know. Simple Armor Edits, where you just delete mesh parts or use the sculpt tool to enhance the Booty isnt really hard and easily done in under 30 minutes for an entire armor. Around 60min if you have a ~good~ guide when you are new to mhw modding. Lewd-Modding the game on the other hand is horribly, horribly, complex and tedious! There are a lot of steps involved to make an armor piece that contains everything needed to have something decent looking ingame which actually works. There is...
- Understanding mhw's folder and file structure
- Importing/Exporting
- Mesh Editing
- Mesh Cleaning
- Weight Painting
- Bone Editing (Armature)
- CTC Jigglebones (physics)
- CCT (Collision)
- Materials and Textures
- and finally fixing issues A LOT of issues
(im pretty new so i could have missed stuff)
AND ON TOP OF THAT... This stuff is important for every single piece that you edit. Which means an entire armor takes time and practice.

THE PROBLEMS

1. CTC Jigglebones (Physics) - most important right now
There are basicly two existing Guides on CTC editing which I worked through enough times. Still, the only physics that work are the ones that already exist (like vanilla armor) and none of the modders can help me making custom CTCs work. This Video Guide and the MHW Modding Wiki Page about CTC editing are the only information sources that i was able to find and work with. The catch is, that when it comes to lewd modding (which involves merging two Armatures that are named differently), I use the High Poly Nudemod as a Base and THEN import Armor parts and make them "fit". This way the Body physics work, but the armor physics dont. You also can twist this to the exact opposite. If there is anyone who has experience with CTC editing that Case, please help me out!

2. There are A LOT of Armors, but everbody dies someday
You are probably thinking that it is insane to edit all armors in mhw just to bring "some" nudity and yes I tell you, it is. Thats why I want to write a guide/workflow so we get more people to do it and someday release a single mod that changes the entire game. The first goal for me at least ist one big mod that changes all Low Rank armors. Now the problem is that, without knowing exactly How to CTC, i wont be able to give you the guide to make stuff jiggle that needs to jiggle. So IF someone is interested in a guide on "Lewd modding mhw" "MHW Armor Modding Guide" with all the steps -I, myself- know of, then we need some people testing stuff. Maybe after the guide is finished some modders come together working through this armor mess together slowly. (potential is there, just sayin)

3. Merging Armatures without Renaming Bones
If this is somehow possible, it would be a huge timesaver! Because blender renames dublicates, you, as of right now, would need to rename and parent every god damn thing manually. This makes Weight Painting even more shitty than it is.

4. Pubic Hair Color and Recolorable Materials
There should be a material that uses the color of the players hair, but i'm not able to make it actually work ingame. If you look at the Leather Armors waist piece screenshot, you see that the pubic hair color is gray and not white (i know bad screenshot but when i change the hair to red, the pubic hair still will be gray).

Below are some tests I was able to make so you know i dont just talk shit. I slowly will work myself through trying to make this "lore friendly". I appreciate every little help!

Leather - some clipping issues on chest piece, but mh always had those issues so i can look over that

Bone Armor - it looks like it works, but the only physics that work are from the High Poly Nudemod and the Futa mod

Here check this out if you are concerned about getting banned in MHW: https://steamcommunity.com/app/582010/discussions/0/1652171126123908435/?ctp=2

Capcom is pretty chill, cause you basicly ruin yourself the game if you use mods that are too game changing. When it comes to Visual Mods, I dont think you will get banned for that ever. Transmog literally exists because modders "hacked" the game to change the weapon and armor design the way they like it. That mod even made it possible that other players online were able to see the change that was made with the mod.

EDIT: Some modders actually told me that with each update it gets harder to mod the game. Which means Capcom actually tries to minimize modding the game. My feeling says that as long as you dont brag about your modded game in public you will be fine.

I suggest you join the MHW modding discord (if you havent already) and ask help there. The modders are very helpful and provide many resources. Plenty of lewd modders would be happy to see a new face.

Sorry guys I actually forgot i made this thread!

UPDATE: I actually found a Method thanks to a modder called Dyster to make everything work with physics, it is complicated tho and very time-consuming!

@adlleyhentai Well MHW works in Parts-that-replace rather than Parts-on-top-of-a-base-model (like skyrim for example). So in order to make a working armor that includes some nudity, you have to include the nude-model inside the armor-file. It is suuuper annoying to make and i dont really have my focus on modding right now but i do have a lot of informations that help with making these kind of mods. I mean just think about how many armors there are and then you have to edit chest, waist and legs to have a good looking lewd-armor-mod, add the physics (cause you cant rlly copy paste when adding a nude model with physics) + textures and fixing. some modders tho use one armor part as the base (the entire body except head for ex.) and then use the other parts to put that on. the problem with that is: you have to wear the entire armor set.

I'm editing a little Discord Server for this huge Project with Informations all about making this work. I'll post an Update here when most of the Stuff is ready so ppl that want to get into it can join it.
