CTD (consistent) with certain DD items

An event seems to be triggered where a guard runs up to me, calls me a slave, I have an option to respond with something along the lines of "I'm not a slave" and "I'm on an errand", both of which result in the guard trying to equip some item(s) on me, after which I get a CTD. Looking through the logs I'm pretty sure the item is "Slave handcuffs", pretty sure it's a part of DD, but could be from ZAZ as well. I've given myself the item using the console and got a CTD after equipping it so I'm pretty sure that's it. Does anyone have a fix for this item?

A side question: what triggers the mentioned event? I've gotten it in different situations (wearing partial slave gear, but also when fully clothed), but it's always a guard running up to me. Other threads suggested Devious Followers (which I have installed but there's no option for this behavior) and Deviously Enslaved (which I don't have installed). Other plausible mods, like Simple Slavery or Horrible Harassment don't have these options either.

you could provide a load order logout : to see what mod could be at a conflict ,

  papyrus logout : to look for errors and problems ,

   FNIS for user output log : info for skeleton , errors , number of anims .

   M O (1/2) or NMM or Vortex .
