Missing MODS

I have discovered this website way to late in life and I am insanely grateful for everyone who are clever enough to contribute to hours of enjoyment for me in these terrible times. As a complete computer novice I have a question or 2: 

 

I have downloaded numerous MODS from here and from SIM Sites making sure that I do not run to many and also being careful that they could not conflict with each other. Sometimes I get all of them working and I can create awesome SIMs to play with and other days or even a few hours later I try to create another and all the mods are gone even though I have not closed the game. They are still in my MOD Folder but just not available to select from. Why is that and how do I fix this. 

 

I also have a number of animations for Wicked which is just bloody amazing... however every time I start the game I have reload all the animations and add them to the playlist as it seems they do not save once I created a list? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a guide to learn how to set up WICKED options as I am struggling to find why some of my sims will for example take their clothes of and some will not even though the setting are the same?

Sounds like your game was updated and mods were disable by game, you need go to setting  and enable CC and script mods again. This always happened each time EA launch a new version of the game.

Thanks - I read another post since my posting and it was suggested when mods clash to add them to their own folders in the main MOD folder. I have since done so and everything seems to be working again.
