[SOLVED] Blender 2.79b import question

I'm trying to import a vanilla riekling model. I've only removed some branches in niefscope. Other than that, everything is "pure".

When I import it the skeleton nodes are way off. That never happened to the previous nif models I've imported.

Also, I tried to export it so if it huhm...kind of fixed itself. The exported nif contains nothing more than the skeleton nodes.

Any ideas?

What should I check under blender import settings when importing.

What should I check when exporting? I usually choose Skyrim as the game and increase bones from 18 to 24.

may be the vanilla mesh is faulty but i can not say for sure ( you can remove the skeleton and rig it back again ).

for the export you need to select all (skeleton and object ) than exporting . if you select half of it you get half of it in file.nif  .

just to mention there is a new dev nif plugins that fixes more things : https://github.com/niftools/blender_nif_plugin/releases/tag/2.6.0.dev4.b2-79-2020-05-07-c7680edd

I downloaded the new plugin. Didn't change anything I'm afraid. I did tried to import one of the nude riekling meshes from morenastycritters and voila. Everything is OK. Maybe you were right about faulty vanilla mesh.

Thanks for being around helping, Coolfreaky :)
