Jerbsinator Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I've got an odd question, how do you make it so that breasts will clip through armor? Here is an example of what I mean
Mailamea Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Make your armor mesh be like an accessory, like separate bra armors that doesn't use a body. Don't know how to do it, but you could use DM melons shop mod there bra acts like it so you can use it as a base
solstice37 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 From the images it looks like the clothes were for a different body type. So the author just resized the clothes but left the breast alone. To achieve what you want there are two methods you can use; but both involve the use of blender. 1. Right click on the bosom part of the armor; hit tab to enter edit mode and start deleting vertices from the armor. Or 2. Take an armor made for a different bodytype and resize it to fit your new bodytype but leave the breast alone.
patzy Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 This is something I see every time when adapting an armor, I think the armor was made for the body mesh the mega oppai was made of, so it fits perfectly around the body, only the tit's do not fit, like the modder just didn't feel like adapting it. You can do this by taking armor made for this body mesh and appending the mega oppai upperbody mesh after deleting the original upperbody mesh, then u just set the parent to the same as the other parts of the armor (usually "scene root") and export it, name it the same way as the armor and optimize it in nifscope (spells -> optimize -> combine shapes; spells -> batch -> update all tangent spaces). To append something u need to import the body-part .nif into blender and save it as .blend file, from this file u then can append parts via 'append or link' option. U also can switch this mesh in nifscope, but I didn't do that yet, there is a tutorial on cs.elderscrolls.com I think. Another way would be to switch the slots of your armor in the cs, if u have a full-body armor u could take out the upper-body slot, this way the armor and your nude body will be displayed at the same time. If u have a top-armor u could switch it to a ring slot, out tail or... whatever. But this method might bring weird results. Also you could but out the boobs from your upperbody mesh, fit the edges to the body mesh(es) the desired armor(s) is (are) made for. And: A - add a skeleton and make an equipable Item of it via the cs. B - append it to the armors via blender and reexport them
