So I've noticed a lot of folks trying to get their hand and neck seams to match.  Well FF to the rescue lol

First you'll need gimp found here.

http://www.gimp.org/

Second back up the files

footfemale.dds

handfemale.dds

face.dds

Next place the ones you wish to edit on your desktop or wherever to keep them together for easy use

Ok fun time!

1-  Open gimp and drag the file you wish to edit into the window.  It should ask you if you want to load it with mipmaps.  Uncheck the little box so it doesn't

2-  Drag the footfemale file over into the window and load it without mipmaps as well.  Then highlight the bottom layer which should be your face or hand layer.

Example

Layers.jpg

3-  Using the little cross in your toolbar drag the footfemale texture over enough so you can see the seams and hold ctrl then hit z to zoom in on the two like so

Example

Drag_and_zoom.jpg

4-  Once zoomed go to the window tab at the top and click on colors.  This is where you match up the lightness and color of the hand or face to match until the seam vanishes and hit ok.

Example

Hue_and_saturation.jpg

5-   Last but not least delete the footfemale/body texture from your layers box by rightclicking it and hitting delete layer and save your file!  You're all done and your seams should match perfectly!
