Is it possible to make more cum textures for SexLab?

Hi! I've been fiddleing with some mods for cum effects, and the only one that gave me no problems (damn you black body issue) is the Quite the Sperm Replacer for Sexlab (Changing some textures, no biggie), I wanted to try the bukkake mod, but I can't make it work (black body over and over, tried some solutions and fixes provided in the thread) I discovered that if i use the Quite the Sperm Relacer textures in that mod, it works, but ofc, it shows the same textures that I already have for SexLab.

So my question is, is there a way to make more cum textures for sexlab? No replace the ones that it already has, but making more so the cum effects gets more extreme. 
I can use photoshop and i have the DDS plugin (i made some tweaking in the normals for my bijin warmaidens, they came out nice) and in the graphical part it should be fine, but in the technical part i assume that I should modify some files from SexLab to call those textures, but no idea.

So. Is it possible? if yes, how?

I will gladly share the result if i come up with something decent.

For starting, yes. I would like to make some more. in that style, with cum by buckets. Expanding the textures that sexlab already has.
So, any ideas where to start?
(BTW is that an in-game sexlab intarface with bars?)

I just finished a mod that does this (finished testing earlier today).

 

The thing with expanding on the volumes of cum and keeping it regional (ie vaginal, anal, oral) is that the complexity is polynomial.  I had to bake 100 new textures, 112 new spells, 112 new spell effects, 112 new effect shaders, 6 new keywords, expand on all the scripts, then associate all the 118 new properties after compiling.

 

It was tedious as all hell.

 

I plan to do some more testing and get permissions from the authors of the textures I used to bake.  When that's all done I will upload it.

 

That all being said, I may also want to work on better textures overall as well.  If this is something you'd like to tool on I will be happy to incorporate.  For this mod we'd want the following textures:

So the short answer to the topic is: Yes, you can.

I was planning on using the PSD provided by Vacaliga in the Sexlab Cum Replacer + Slavetats Mod, and the Quite the Sperm Textures to go by. Or, If i had the meshes with proper UVs  as FBX i could work on the textures in Substance Painter (My knowledge In 3d is for environments and props, but playing in painter is easy and responsive enough to play a little bit  without being a real character artist) Is it possible to get the fbx of a CBBE body?

Not sure where to find the fbx.  For what I've put together so for I used the default SL textures for the first two effects, then added the Insane Textures (light) 1 and 2 to the stage 2 defaults for 3 and 4 respectively.  Good enough for testing and effect, but I'm confident something better can be made for the textures.

 

I also changed the alpha handling to eliminate the weird effect it has when lit, but this made things too bright in the dark/overall.  I will need to mess with the DDS transparency on what I have.

 

Further, there's a distinct lack of depth to the textures that could use an experienced hand...  I sincerely wish I could apply Normal Maps to ShaderEffects [insert ultra-frown here]

Normals are super easy to make in substance painter. Like hella easy. Send me via pm a couple of the textures, and if can find the CBBE 3BBB Body model to download, i could make some. Shaders aren't my thing, that's more of a tech-artist profile, and are managed by the engine, I can make the texture maps needed to drive them if i knew which ones are, but i can't make them work in game.

The issue isn't creating the Normals, it's getting Skyrim to utilize them.  The Cum textures are applied as an effectshader which won't accept a normal map.

Just out of curiosity, when are you planning to release the mod? everything that adds gallons of cum on my girls, im interested.

EffectShader won't do the normal maps but ImpactShaders will I think.  But that is a whole different challenge to handle altogether, since those are designed to handle projectiles and weapons impacting the actor.  Skyrim hates it if you try to trigger one of those on a self-cast spell.

 

Either way, to get normals we'd need to completely retool how SL applies cum.

I think that FO4 AAF got the normals via LooksMenu Overlays but I also believe this made it impossible to apply the cum effects to the face which is a trade-off I am completely unwilling to make.

Got a question about that. All the cum textures of sexlab are only for the body, but faces have their own texture. I dont know why sexlab doesn't use that too and it confuses me a little bit, specially having seen mods like this one that it clearly has some textures that ONLY align with the head texture.

But ofc, sexlab only uses the body ones, so when it tries to match this cum splotches (made for the face) the uvs doesn't match and it comes out, (pun not intented) of course, cut and broken. Care to explain? Why that mod has those texures when sexlab doesn't use it? Is it just for slavetats? Is there a way for sexlab to use that texture slot?

The face specific ones there are utilizing NiOverride rather than a Spell.  This is apparently a plausible solution since that supports Normals and apparently works for all the body regions.

 

Could patch SL to use SlaveTattoos then, or bake a new solution utilizing NiOverride.

You make it sound lke I said something clever. I honestly have no idea. I was just playing with the texture and found it weird. specially having the textures from vacaliga. I can't be the only one wanting to give a facial to one of the Bijin girls...XD
PS. If you make that patch/mod, I wanna know ASAP.

I will probably upload the version I have now when I can, then start tooling on an alternative framework to apply the effects so we can use Normals.

I have a question on this one, since you are working on the "topic".

 

The cum textures on my followers (actually, it´s not real followers, but those from Follow Me For Sex), enter a new cell, entering through a door or respawning after they fell too far behind my running, the textures are removed again, as if they are not stored anywhere permanently. In Follow Me For Sex you can define how long the textures are supposed to stay, which is great, but this really only works for my character - the followers get refreshed when ever they respawn or enter a cell.

Do you know what causes this, how to fix it, and are you condirering that as well, or is it an effect which cannot be managed?

I'd have to attempt to replicate the behaviour and research it.  The default for SL is to cast a spell on the actor which results in the cum texture being applied as a shader.  Same as how some spells or enchantments can make a character glow or have some other effect.

 

Best guess is that the spell is being dispelled in these scenarios.

 

If a variant using NiOverride is created it should eliminate that problem, but the system would also need to track the actors and handle removal as well unless tied into another function altogether.

Yes, this I see these spells in SSEEdit as well. And this is also why you can set the timer for the duration of the spell effect so to speak. At least in Follow Me For Sex you can - I did not find any such option in Sexlab or in Hentai Creatures or anywhere else. So that is a good thing.

However, I am just wondering why this is kept for the character but not for the followers. Maybe it´s because they are not "real" followers but just regular NPC which Follow Me For Sex simply remembers and if needed simply respans them in their vanilla state? They do also lose the Enhanced Blood textures btw., which is probably exactly the same mechanic.
