36 Consistence Issues In FNIS

My FNIS Generation Tool stopped working for some inexplicable reason so I deleted and reinstalled the mod. Now both my sexlab and zazanimationpack mods are saying they are missing FNIS files even after I reinstalled it, reinstalled both of those mods, and then ran the FNIS generation tool. The tool itself also says it has 36 consistence issues because ZaZ Animations and Milk Mod Economy contains duplicate animations. I ran the game just fine yesterday without any of these issues so I don't know what went wrong. I installed Yiffy Age of Skyrim today, could that have somehow caused FNIS to not work? That doesn't sound right.

Update 1: The weirdest part about all of this is probably the fact that I have FNIS, but Vortex absolutely insists that I don't and thet sexlab and zaz need it. I don't think anyone has had that problem here, but I could be wrong,

Update 2: When I actually launch the game, MME gives an error warning that the scripts aren’t running, even though I installed them and made sure they weren’t overwritten. By this point I’m starting to think that my game is just ruined beyond salvation.

Update 3: Game no longer starts. Upon new game starting, it’s just the loading screen forever.

Update 4: Should I delete all mods and do a fresh reinstall of the game?

Update 5: The game isn’t crashing or anything and the YiffyAge models are displaying in the loading screens so I assume the mods worked, but it just doesn’t start. It’s stuck in the loading screen seemingly forever and I can’t quit out or do anything.

Update 6: I disabled Yiffy Age mods and the missing dependencies errors disappeared, somehow. I have no idea what’s going on.

Update 7: Do you think that it’s because Yiffy Age exceeded Skyrim’s script limit considering that I have other mods?

It may actually be a duplicate, try uninstalling Milk for verification

Yiffy Age of Skyrim today

Incompatibilities

  • Anything that makes major changes to races. So Requiem and such overhauls are not likely to work.
  • Killable Children does not work. It also makes it possible to sex up children, so cut that shit right out.
  • XPMSE isn't incompatible, but for the digitigrade skeleton I had to take a snapshot and they are updating all the time. It's possible you'll end up with a mod that wants a later skeleton than I provide.
  • Any new human races. Inconsequential NPCs adds a teen race and they aren't handled properly without the patch.
  • No Snow Under the Roof mod - messes up some statues, otherwise works.
  • Mods that add NPCs generally do work, but the NPCs won't have any color variation or tattoos.
  • SOS is the only male mesh supported. No Better Males or SAM or SOS Lite.
  • Improved Open Face Helmets is redundant--the furries have open face helmets that suit their race.

It certainly requires Race Compatibility

Try uninstalling it for verification or install Race Compatibility if absent

A Load order, FNIS report however would help to understand

I uninstalled and reintalled all MME mods and the errors persist.

I don’t know what these are.

The error message doesn’t specify.

MME duplicates animations from the Zaz Animation Pack, I think so that ZAP itself isn't actually required to use it. There shouldn't be any harm in having those same 36 animations in both mods, unless it pushes you over the animation limit. I've been running both for some time and haven't had any issues. FNIS identifies them as "possible" consistency issues, not definite ones.

For the scripts, I once had the same thing and it was to do with soft dependencies. If you have two or more mods that both have the same soft dependency, but you don't have that soft dependency installed, it can cause those mods to break. I think this is mentioned in the Dragonborn in Distress mod description, as that's one that can suffer from the issue. Devious Devices was the soft dependency I had an issue with when using MME. By installing only the scripts from DD Integration (and possibly also Expansion) there was no problem. Or you could simply install the DD mods and deactivate their esms if you don't want to use them.

I've never used the Yiffy mod, so I can't comment on any problems relating to that.

That actually explains a lot. Thank you.

Though, that still doesn’t explain why my Vortex still keeps saying sexlab and zazanimations are missing FNIS, when I have FNIS installed.

Also, I do have MME scripts installed. And all DD mods.

Either way, thanks for this.

I only ever used Vortex very briefly to see what it was about, then went back to mod organizer, so I don't know what to suggest with that.

For the soft dependency issue, I only used DD as an example. When I start a game without DD installed, but with both MME and SexLab Adventures installed (both of which have DD as a soft requirement) MME completely breaks, giving me a pop-up about its scripts not working. Installing just the scripts from DD (and starting a new game) fixes that issue in my case. The pop-up warning sounded a lot like what you reported in your Update 2 to the opening post.

It might not be the problem you're having, but if it is, it could be a different soft requirement causing it. MME has lots of soft linked plugins listed in its description. Here's a quote from the Dragonborn in Distress description that explains it:

!Important Compatibility Issue! If you have two mods that are both soft dependents of the same mod, but don't have that dependency installed, one or both of the mods may break. Dragonborn in Distress is particularly susceptible to this, with the number of soft dependencies it has. The most common culprit is another mod that is soft dependent on Devious Devices or SexLab Aroused. This bug can be fixed by simply installing the soft dependency. If you don't want to have the mod fully installed, just make sure the scripts are installed, and disable the plugin.

It turns out one of the Yiffy Age mods I have includes a corrupted file that interferes with FNIS, which is probably the reason behind all of these things. I’ll get that sorted out and see what happens. Thank you though.
