hiredranger Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Hello, I do not post much but I love this site. I really want to support it properly. But I cancelled my patreon account quite a while ago because of their insidious social engineering. Is there another way I can donate / support you? I would send you cash on a carrier pidgeon. Pay directly to a verified owners bank account. Anything that means that the right person or people gets the contribution and helps keep the site open.
Guest Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Patreon sucks. I've made a account there, but dropped it, as it wont accept crypto. I dont want to see 90% of the money from supporters going to bankers and bureaucrats.
RitualClarity Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 There is many different ways, check in to bitcoin or other such things. However, another way to support the site or even individual authors is to actually SUPPORT them in their creative process. Support their mods, Help those in need .. this helps free them to be able to do the work that you will end up enjoying so much. Keeps them from having to repeat the same answer over and over again for the most part and must support sessions as many don't read the OP or instructions .. some do but don't understand, ... still other do and forget a step or two. keeping them welll supported helps the authors and the site as well. If you become successful and understand some things you can even start to create a guide or tutorials to do things and post it so that people can follow it and help themselves... don't underestimate the value of someone providing solid support.
