Q: How do I clean up my mod list?

Simple title.

I've got over 200 mods in my list but only 20 active ones. So many are old and cause the game to crash that I can't use them but I can't figure out how to uninstall them easily.

I'm using STEAM if that helps.

1. Unsubscribe from the mod in Steam. You can see all subscribed mods on Stellaris workshop under: Browse -> Subscribed articles. (For complete wipe click "unsubscribe from all")
2. Manually delete the associated .mod and .zip file under ~\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod, so that the mod no longer appears in the launcher. (For complete wipe, delete everything inside the mod folder)

You should use a mod manager for Stellaris to clean up your mod priorities.  The one I use (the only one I found) does this automatically.  You may have to adjust: IE if a patch is placed above the mods patched.  As for the manager I found it with Google.

Hi Pfactor, I'd suggest if you just want to quickly get rid of your old mods:

1. go to the steam workshop and make a collection of the mods you currently have installed

1.1 you can have the paradox launcher open while you do this to make it easier. Just close it before moving onto the next steps

2. go to your subscribed items in the workshop (top centre) and unsubscribe to all

3. Go back to the collection that you made and "subscribe to all"

3.1 since the mod order is saved elsewhere and is undisrupted by this, when you load the launcher next it should remain in the same order.

Best of luck
