bloom maybe? If the sword has a bright environment or specular map it may trigger a bright bloom.

with the enb active do this:

0) pull the sword out and open the console (the ~ key)

1) hit shift-enter

2) move your mouse around until you find the enb pointer. This can be tricky if you have multiple monitors. (it's a different pointer from the skyrim pointer, mine is a rotating hourglass and i dunno if that's intended.)

3) move the pointer to the scroll bar on the list that shift enter brought up.

4) grab and scroll down till you see "enable bloom" (scroll wheel, arrow keys and page up/dn don't work on that)

5) uncheck the  box.

If it was already unchecked or if the glow is still there after you uncheck it, then it's the mod. If it's gone, it's the enb.

If it's the mod, I dunno what to tell you.

If it's the enb, turning off bloom saves like 15% frame rate AND the scene has higher contrast. Personally, bloom just washes shit out for me. Plus I'd rather have the frames.

if you delete the enbbloom.fx file, that is not necessarily the same as turning off bloom.

in enbsettings.ini (is that the file?) there's an entry for something like "enableBloom = TRUE" near the top. set that to FALSE.

If it's already set to false, or changing it to false has no effect, then that means it's the weapon mod and I don't know what to tell you. Meb a comment on the mods forum.
