CTD on or before Bethesda logo

Edit: Forgot that simply know has a dll problem that needs an extra mod for it, leaving this up incase someone else cant find the issue and stumbles across here.

So I recently got back into Skyrim, and decided to use a few mods (specifically for a Sexlab Survival playthrough) and I can't figure out what mod is the problem.

I've tried doing a clean install of Skyrim, and I can get it to run with the official Skyrim launcher, but when I try to launch from SKSE it crashes before I even get through the Bethesda logo.

 

Specs:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.70 GHz

    RAM: 24 GB DDR4

    GPU: GTX 1050

    OS: Windows 10 64bit

do you installed any oldrim mod? when you install a oldrim mod with a bsa you get a crash before the logo.

I don't believe so. as far as I could tell all mods are SE, I can check here in a bit though.

It can be Simply Knock. You need a patched dll to make it work.

yeah, that was the problem, edited it the same day after i remembered that i had to do it last time
