Hilds Y Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Because quarantine makes me bored, and I'm stupid, so I want to learn simple animation modding. after a few hours learning from YouTube and many forums. I got 2 HKX Converters, "hkxcmd and ConvertUI" I tried to learn from some animation mods, and problem I got, when I to change format .Hkx To .KF Some succeed but some fail, I use Hkxcmd and get message error, Like this. "Error processing skeleton 'NPC Root [Root]' number of tracks exceed bones." can anyone tell me what this error is?

6Sleeper Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 If you are still struggling with that error, then youre lucky, ive found a solution. Ive been struggling myself, but the answer is quite simple: wrong skeleton. There are animations than cannot be converted to kf with XPMSE, but can be converted with XPMS. Basically convert your animation to xml, find number of BoneTracks, this number will determine maximum number of bones in skeleton. For XPMSE - 126 max, for XPMS - 242 max or something like that.
