Disable some of your hair mod plugins, then try it again. You can enable them again later.

nada. my screen still gets all framey then goes to desktop.

Just start as male and  type " sexchange " command and then go change race, the strange male head will be fixed.

Your load order is horrible. Use BOSS then if you still have problems at least we'll know its not conflicts.

I used to have this issue as well.

 

It is usually caused by too many hair mods or high defintion textures. You'll either need to disable your hair mods (only have one running if that) or use lower res/normal res textures.

 

Another easy fix, download a save after Helgen. I found many saves inside the Keep on the Nexus that are females. This will start you automatically in the Keep as a female, then just use the Race Change mod (don't use the showracemenu command as that can cause issues as well as crashes) to adjust yourself to what you want.

No it isn't the load order, although you should fix it, and add spoiler tag so that is isn't so big. This used to happen to me when I used
custom races with many customization options( hair,lips,eyes, eyebrows , etc).

1. Just use one hair mod at time.

 

2. Use a mod called 'Alternative Start'. It will make you start on a small room with no one but you inside.

 

3. Avoid using too many HD textures, this can make you CTD.

 

4. Use BOSS to rearrange everything.

 

5. Use a texture optimizer to improve performance.(there's one at nexus)

 

 Do this and you can say goodbye to CTDs for a long time.
