Greetings everyone..

 

I download this mod a few months ago:

and everything was fine and I didn't run into any problems until I use this mod:

I notice NPC from Redguards race return to their original look so I decide to remove the mod but even after I done that some of them still have the vanilla look while the others have the better look .. the mod I download only have an .esp no textures or anything .. it's also effect "Tamriel Travelers Merchants" mod .. any explanation on why some of the effect still exist even after I remove the mod completely?..

Have you used a old save before you installed Bounty Hunter Package? Or started a new game?

The "wrong" NPC can be in your save, so they do not return to "the better looking Redguard"

I see weapon , clothes and a coin replacer )  Mods at the end. Not sorted!

 

And at the end should be

Wrong load order can also mess up Mods.

The "better looking Redguard" Mod should be loased after "Bounty Hunter Package" Mod, so even if the redguard race is in the "Bounty Hunter Package" Mod in game the readguards should look like the better looking Redguards.

But why should there be the readgurd race in the "Bounty Hunter Package" ? Maybe the Mod is dirty? Have you cleaned the esp with TES4Edit?

EDIT: Yes the Redguard race is in the esp ( have you read the 2 post at Nexus?. The Modder is stupid. Seems he play a readguard so he add a spell to the Readguard race.  And maybe thats not the only bug he added ??? )

Well actually I did and Baurus the one with the emperor in the beginning of the game appear fine his look is the good looking redguard but the first one I saw have the vanilla look is Isleif the open handed I met him in imperial city temple district I was really surprised when I saw him like this ... I don't know how many NPC effected by that .. because I only saw two: Isleif and a female Redguard from Tamriel Travelers Merchants mod .. Rohssan appear fine when I went to her shop .. 

 

And about the load order boss sort it for me like this and nothing was messed up at all until I install this mod .. "Bounty Hunter Package" is no longer in my load order anyway like I said in my first comment I remove it .. I always clean any mod before I use it if I found it dirty ..

Well I'm not sure I thought he create a copy from the vanilla race and give them a different name .. I didn't expect it to effect the existing race in the game .. if not for the class and birthsign I wouldn't have install this mod anyway..

But after you run BOSS  you get a list with all the Mods BOSS has not sorted ( Mods that are not in the BOSS masterlist ) and BOSS tells you that you have to sort them manually.

 

And BOSS does not sort all Lovers Mods right.  So after you run BOSS you sort the Lovers Mods manually.

Everything below LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp is not sorted !

And the Better looking redguard.

The Mod worked right before you installed "Bounty Hunter Package" ?  Sure that you saw Isleif  and he was not vanilla?

 

Does the Better looking redguard Mod change the race or the NPCs?

If the Mod change the NPCs maybe some NPCs was not change.

Or the Mod add a new Redguard race and not all Vanilla Redguard NPCs was changed to the new race.

 

EDIT: I checked the esp.  It add new races and change NPCs.

Isleif  is vanilla redguard. 

In the Mod are two new races   RedguardMales "Redguard Male" [RACE:01012D81]   and   RedguardFemales "Redguard Female" [RACE:0100F015]

And the vanilla Readguard race gets new body and head textures. And 8 new hairs.

And then all Redguard NPCs are in the esp, some use the new races but some use the vanilla race.

Isleif is vanilla race and vanilla hair. And Baurus is the new male race with vanilla hair.

 

Vanilla and new male race use

Characters\Redguard\Male\headhuman.dds

characters\redguard\male\footmale.dds

And the "Bounty Hunter Package" only change 11 vanilla factions

And it adds one new faction, one birthsign and 6 spells. That's all ! ( I have downloaded both version )

The Mod can not mess up the redguards! Or any other race.

 

 

Sort your Mods! Then start TES4Edit with all Mods and see what Mods change redguards.

If the Better looking redguard Mod is below all other Mods that change vanilla redguard race ( and redguard NPCs)  the redguards should be ok. You have a lot of race mods below "Better looking redguard" and in many race mods are copies of vanilla races because the esp was not cleaned. If you use CS without CSE  you only have a watch a race and it will be in the esp you create.

Start a new Game after you fixed your load order!

I already know how to sort mods manually but I don't know where to put them exactly in the masterlist I think you should give me a suggestion list for all these unrecognized mods ..

 

And yes the Better looking Redguards change both the race and the NPC before I install "Bounty Hunter Package" all NPC have a better look I even try this mod  https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/33225 with Better looking Redguards and the character appear better in my opinion ..

 

But how?!..I'm sure there wasn't any vanilla looking Redguards when I first try the "Better Looking Redguards" but after I install "Bounty Hunter Package" some of them changed .. 

 

Hmmm..I don't have that many races below .. only 8 and they are not effect the Redguard race in anything they have there own textures boss just couldn't recognized them ..

You have CM Partners. Not many people here use it. The scripts are not good.

Better use MCS ( MadCompanionshipSpells  and MCS extension.. You don't need HumantouchNPC )

If you want to use CM Partner Companions Mods ( I don't see any in your load order ? )  you delete all CM stuff in the esp (maybe add a AI pack: Wander near editor location) so you have a NPC that just stand/wanders near the location the esp place him/her. Then you use MCS to make the NPC your companion.

Delete the CM Partner esm.  Are in the CM partner esp companion NPCs you want? Then delete all CM stuff ( AI Packs, Factions, Scripts... from the NPCs .

With MCS you can make any NPC your companion.

 

Just a suggestion. There are still people who use CM.

The Better looking Redguards

Check the esp, there are many NPCs ( male ) that use the vanilla Readguard race. But they use the new textures from Better looking Redguards .

If they do not use the new Textures then you have a Mod below Better looking Redguards that change the vanilla redguard race.

 

And "Bounty Hunter Package" is and was not able to change the vanilla Redgurad race ( not if you use the 1.0 or 1.5 version)

There is no race in the esp. Only the things I mentioned in my post above.

Actually there's CM Companion in my masterlist take a look again it's "DASakura.esp" and the other one in the unrecognized list "AndreaCM.esp" .. I don't want to use MCS I prefer to use a custom race companion who design for that to be with me not any random NPC .. so no thanks..

 

That's odd .. all these races in the list above before any of that happen .. which one of them could change and effect the redguards? all of them have there own textures except "DragonBlessedRace.esp" they use Imperial textures ..

I don't know your unsoted mod. I can google to find out if it is a quest, armor or race mod....  But you know the Mods so you can sort the Mods

Again: clothes Mods to sorted clothes Mods, Quest Mods to sorted quest Mods, .....Sort them in about alphabetically within the categories

And with MCS you can use the custom race companion you have. I told you  remove the CM shit from the esp and delete the CM esm and use the companions with MCS.

And how the fuck should I know that "DASakura.esp"  is CM Mod? The name sound like a race Mod. I told you in my last post that I do not know your unsorted Mods.

And it was just a suggestion to get rid of the buggy CM system.

Have you load all your Mods with TES4Edit and checked if any Mod change the vanilla redguards ?

EDIT: the alphabetically sorting within a category is not important ( it's just for better looking, aesthetic. ) so you can place the better redguards as the last race mod, so that no other Mod can overwrite the vanilla redguards.

Then you should ask instead of assume this's a race.. and I didn't say you should know about DASakura.esp being a companion mod..I'm just reply to what you said " I don't see any in your load order ?" .. that's all .. why are you upset anyway? .. did my answer annoy you that much? .. I know it's just a suggestion I was just making myself clear I"m getting used to this CM Companion mod and I didn't noticed any bug in it other than sometimes the companion stuck inside a shop or other houses when your character move to another cell but it's not that big deal to me it can easily solved with companion ring...and beside this not the issue here anyway..

You have a sorted BOSS load order.

You sort the unsorted esp in the sorted esp categories.

 

 

Example:

Lochaber Axe.esp  are armors,clothes, weapons category Mod.

 

In your sorted laod order in the green armors,clothes, weapons category Mod.

Maybe you can play with your unsorted mods many month or maybe years if you install only a few more mods.

I once had about 50 mods and the DLCs and I istallled a new Mod, a armor Mod that add one chest in the IC Waterfront district...  and my game crashed.

So I changed the load order of the mod, at the beginning , in the middle, at the end ... but my game crashes, Without the Mod all was fine.

Shit Mod?

Then I read about load order and I sorted my Mods right ( they were sorted but the important Mods first then the other Mods and armor clothes all at the end ) .

Then I installed the "bad" armor Mod again and it worked, no CTD. And just for fun I tested other positions in the load order, and I was able to place the Mod at the end, beginning or in the middle without a CTD.

 

So a wrong load order can work many years and one day you install a new mod and get CTD  and you think "What a shit Mod". But then you will find more and more Mods that you can not install/crash your game.

So never ignore the BOSS warning after sorting !  Sort the unsorted Mods.

 

And after you sorted the unsorted Mods:

-You can add the unsorted Mods in the BOSS "Oblivion masterlist txt" file, so the next time you run BOSS they are sorted.

-Or you copy your load order ( make a copy of the Oblivion "plugins.txt"  or the copy the load order from the OBMM )  then you can sort the Mods again after you run BOSS.

-Or you  never run BOSS again and sort new Mods manually. Search the new Mod in the BOSS "Oblivion masterlist txt"  with Notepad ++ , then put it in the right place. And if it's not in the BOSS list place it in the right category.

 

I use the last option. I don't have BOSS installed , I only have the "Oblivion masterlist txt" .

And for a new Oblivion installtion I have a backups from my "plugins.txt"  so I can sort all my old/must have Mods.

Well just to show you what exactly these mods is ..

 

I always use OBMM to sort the mods .. is this a bad choice?..

 

Hmmm..

Make sense sometimes I get CTD from time to time in a random places like Imperial City and with some enemies from Monster Girls Mod inside caves and ruins every time when they summon a creatures sometimes they summon them without a problem .. I couldn't get what cause that to happen  ..

Anyway I'll try that and thank you very much ..
