making custom follower default armor/clothing visible in inventory

As the title says, I am looking for a way to make the default clothing/armor of a custom follower visible in her inventory.

I searched the internet and at least found a tutorial to delete armor/clothing via tes5edit:

I've seen and even tested it myself, when I delete things under "armor addon" and also the referenced to items under "armor", it won't be there in the game.

However, I would prefer not to loose the armor entirely and at the same time be able to trade it just normally with the follower in her inventory.

So, is there a way to make the armor show up with tes5edit?

On a sidenote:

Why do characters even have these "invisible default clothes/armors"?

Edit:

Got to know (hope I'm right) I have to delete "DOFT":

But how?

Rightclick doesn't give an option.

Hello AlipheeseXV.   You need to create an "Outfit", using (listing) the armor parts. Then in CK, you can drag those parts into your followers inventory.  For your second question, you delete the outfit in the LEFT window under "Outfit - Lyra Outfit".  If this is the follower you want to add inventory items to, just change "LyraOutfit" to "LyraCuirass", then add boots, gloves, ...whatever as additional items that make up the outfit.  Those items will then be available in CK when you load the esp and do as I said above.

Thx for the explenation.

Hoped it will be doable without CK, but well.

"Solved" it 2 days prior by finding 2 custom followers without "DOFT" to my liking, so for now I have no need for CK.

Will remember this when I feel the urge to really alter some things.

Nonetheless as stated, thx for the explanation :)
