andazreal Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Hi ,I've just started getting into modding the Sims 4 after spending a lot of time (back in the day) modding Sims 3. In Sims 3 I found a fake/invisible/see thru (adjustable height) floor tile you could download and use, which was IDEAL for posing your Sims..(called one more slot please) It basically acts like a false floor/surface, meaning items/sims will snap onto it and you can then use (I think it was shift) to adjust the height of it, so you could also use it as a surface, like a shelf or table or whatever. I mainly used it to easily get sims into position for sexy photo shoots and posing. I know that the ability to just grab and manipulate sims using the build editor is now NOT a feature in Sims 4 (like it was in Sims 3)... you instead have to teleport sims onto the area you want using a mod or you can use subject marks (via the moschino add on) but the main problem with that being you can't then move/adjust the height of the mark, so you can't get them posing on a bed or surface for example. yes I know you can just use bb.moveobjects and then adjust the height of the statue before teleporting the sim onto it, but that is FAAAR from ideal. and 90% of the time the height is wrong or the pose is not in the most ideal position. So you have to go through it all AGAIN EVERY TIME.. Surely someone has made a fully adjustable floor/surface tile? And if NOT.. how would I go about making one? I am aware of the OMSP shelves and set height surface mods by severinka and kit kat, but Ideally want a surface that I can get a sim to stand/pose on that i can then move around at will. Any help on this would be appreciated.

2cool4u_1 Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Try the T.O.O.L. mod. It works on sims too. You can easily move them, or elevate them and rotate them (on any axis) by entering a numeric value (decimals accepted). https://twistedmexi.com/
erplederp Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I can confirm the TOOL mod works. It is fairly easy to use together with the teleporter (to e.g. elevate the sim and use a ground pose with a bed instead).
