Guest Lady Luck Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Patch 1.8 ( bug list) This post is intend for people already owned dragonborn do not read this if you hate spoiler otherwise helping us fix this bug. 1# freya " OOO me get candy bug " upon arrival at solstheim , a dark elven fellow will greet you another dark elven will talk to you about this maddening stone that drive raven rock people crazy, traveling deep in solstheim territory you stumble upon a girl name " Frea" a skaalian nord on morrowind unveiling the black book secret Behold the most annoying bug that frea won't chill down " She runs all over the place , lead you into wrong path back to entrance the WTF moment!. 2# House of telvanni Astral Elvator bug Holy shit this one pissed me off . no matter how many times you push the button it won't bring you up the only solution i found was "TCL" any advice to fix this stupid bug on creation kit? 3. Storn " but i don't like books momy.." ok this one ... idk it's one of the most epic nuisance bug when storn says he want to read the book assuming you want to wait like an idiot but the book never appears you stand in a oblivious feeling like " WTF is going on here" is it because my ini files screwed up or mods interfering if so what is the mod i should check.
ratrace Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Astral elevator bug: Haven't been in the house of Telvanni yet, but there's also an astral elevator in Neloth's house that doesn't work with the old FNIS files installed. Solution: If you have FNIS 3.4 installed, upgrade to version 3.4.1 (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11811). This fixed the elevator bug for me and I could float up / down without using the console. But most important: Install Arthmoor's Unofficial Dragonborn Patch: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31083. Hope this helped.
LifeandEd Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I finished DB late two days ago. With gameplay-altering mods stripped out, I had a few problems, but managed to solve them and finish the main story anyway. First, the dunmer working on the earth stone were frozen. That was due to FNIS. I removed the defaultmale and defaultfemale hkx files to fix it, but fore's put out an update that should take care of it too. I also had trouble with not being able to absorb dragon souls. This was an USKP problem. UDBP is supposed to fix it, but I started a new game after completing DB and can't confirm I can absorb souls yet. The last and hardest to figure out bug was glitching in place when mounting the dragon at the end. I solved this by uninstalling realistic force. It's probably a skeleton problem.
Guest Lehshara Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Meh, Dragonborn y u so buggy! I have Unofficial Dawnguard patch installed but still I had those bugs: 1. Astral elevator not working in Neloth's house (I have FNIS 3.4.1) - Managed to complete mission with "TCL" cheat. 2. When Using "Dragon Aspect" my char. for 1 second gets "bugged" animation - Ya know what I mean, Hands up and legs wide. 3. Now Im stuck on mission where Storn have to read this Black Book and so far I don't see any fix for this... Fuck, Goodbye mah DLC for few days, hope there will be FIX for this soon

Here it is: player.teachword 000179db (first 2 zero's also could be 00 01 02 or 03 depends on dlc's) @UPDATE 2.0 Download this FIX and enjoy DB. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31113 Oh I have found another bug... Quest: At the Summit of Apocryph At the ending when you fight with Miraak and he have over 5% HP he teleports underground and is not moving or anythin.

Hermamora will play outthe ending sequence. HOWEVER, I wasn't able to loot Miraak's corpse.And though I saw the tentacle, I didn't see Miraak get impaled. Hejust...sits there under the lake, but the sequence still pushes through.The end, after that.

leddis3 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 You know what? I miss Morrowind NPCs. Sure they stood around all day like mannequins but at least you didn't rely on them to perform actions and then have them break!

Is this designed to address the issue with the dragon flying off and leaving you sitting there like a bum? Because that's what I'm experiencing right now. I have the animation to GET on the dragon, I have the animation to properly sit on the dragon, and I lean back, to the side, etc with the dragon's movements... except I'm still just hovering in place from where I got on while the dragon goes flying off.
