gooser Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 So I'm relatively new to SSE modding. This has happened twice now - the first time around level 56, this time at level 42. I get to the point where previously working saves refuse to load. CTD after a few seconds of loading. I'm not sure why, but I suspect either a SKSE-based mod, or XP32M SSE. I can play fine for 1-3 hours, occasionally crashing when moving into new Cells. But I just reload the game and carry on. Up to a point, when later (never in the same gaming session), when I sit down again and try to carry on and continue. gooser Posted February 18, 2020 Author Posted February 18, 2020 YMMV, but I found that examing the skse64.log file there were some lines regarding skee64.dll (used by Racemenu) that seems odious. I ended up hiding the .dll in MO2 and now my games load without CTDs!
