Issues W/ Lovers mods

For some reason some Lovers mods lock up when the Quest Updated screen pops up. I have had it happen on the playerslave Adventures mod most, but it has read it's ugly head in the Crowning Isle one as well I deactivated every mod save the required ones and, double checked the load order. Any help would be appreciated seeing as I am at my wits end.

My load order is:

Oblivion.esm

Lovers withPK.esm

DLCShiveringIlse.esp

Lover ithPK.esp

PlayerslaveEncounters.esp

LoversIdleAnimPriority.esp

LoversAnimObjectspriority.esp

I have more mods but those are the only ones active. I have tried to keep them at a bare minimum till I get this problem figured out. As to exactly what it is doing: My character gets captured and, put in chains. At this point all the animations and, everything are working just fine. I get taken to a cell and a popup quest update screen comes up where it says some thing like "I have been captured and, need to escape" ore something like that. It has 2 choices either "continue" or "make this my main quest". This is where the issue comes up because it will not let me click either option. I have tried the mouse button and, using the arrow pad and enter button. I have also tried looking through  the console commands with no luck. I should also mention that it will not at this point let me pick any of the options win I hit esc ( save, load, options, settings, quit). am I missing something or, is my load order off or, what. Thanks for any help.

Try it again and this time hit your escape button, then try to use your mouse, if it doesn't work then hit your escape button again and try again to use your mouse.  It sounds like something is interfering with your menus but I don't have a clue what it is.
