Guards not stopping rape.

I am not crashing and ALL of my other Lovers programs seem to work just fine. The only mod I have had an issue with is the StopKillRape and HelpRapeVPlayer...With one or both activated, nobody tries to stop any of the rapes at all including the guards as well as the townspeople.

Sorry for the double post but my Reneers Guard Overhaul also won't let the guards arrest the civilians. Without that and having Joburgs somewhat active I don't want to have tons of npcs dead when I visit.

Guards (nor other NPC's) will never "stop" rapes.  Only companions will attempt to rescue you during a rape.  Unless you have a companion with you at the time you are pretty much screwed (pun intended).

 

Stop kill raper is only meant to prevent guards from killing the rapists.  With rev96 of lovers you don't need that plugin any longer as it is built into lovers.

I have a similar problem as the OP.

I use loverscreatures and HelpRapevPlaver but my companion: "Vilja" does not stop my character from being raped by the creatures.

helprapevplayer is very unreliable - I found it worked maybe 1 time in 10, if I was lucky. As escaperapevplayer is 100% reliable, I never found this to be an issue - but I don't use it either now, as I try to avoid rapes which now carry some actual danger for my character.

 

I see Claudia's Little Secret (vtoy) in your load order - you do know this isn't compatible with LPK?

Yes i know Vtoy is incompatible so i modded it myself to make it partly compatible, the incompatible parts of vtoy i dont use.

 

Too bad helprapevplayer is unreliable, it really is annoying to see my companions just standing there waiting for the rape to finish. It is the only mod in my database that is not working properly.

If you're happy with altering CLS, fixing helprapevplayer to work properly shouldn't be difficult. I took a look at it a while ago, when I was toying with the idea of making escaperapevplayer less reliable, before I decided to play without it.

Yeah i already took a look at the script in the editor but the script confuses me and i see all kinds of scrambled text in the script.

You think maybe the script is broken somehow? Does anyone have a working version of the helprapevplayer mod?

I don't think it would be difficult to edit LoversImmoralGuards to stop rapes; most of the heavy lifting has already been done. They come running at the least suggestion of bonking; all that would be necessary would be to add some dialog and put the break item in inventory.

Nakrian, as I recall, the usual problem with helprapevplayer was the way it tried to determine whether you had a viable companion at the time. Much more useful to use membership of player faction, IMO.

After some more tests it seems to work extremely rare. After about 40 times getting raped, Vilja finally decided enough is enough and bashed the Tentacle lady in the head.

I will try to adjust the script to check for player faction, but unfortunately i am not a great scripter.

Will try anyway. In the meantime if anyone has a better solution please let me know. I really want this to be fixed.

Hmmm...... did not edit the script yet, but now the mod seems to work perfectly on certain creatures such as the troll and the ogre.

Multiple times raped by troll and 100% interuption by Vilja, same statistics with the ogre, scamps, and some shivering isle creatures. Tentacle lady and other creatures can do as they please and rape without getting interupted. Maybe the problem is not in the helprapevplayer script.

 

I am making a mod with evil wizards roaming the land while summoning rape creatures so i will just use the creatures that do work with helprapevplayer for now.
