I decided to put together a couple of new families that end up being forced into one household due to circumstances, thanks to the lore I built up for them.

 

Just outside Finchwick, Henford-on-Bagley, stood Vanhorn Manor an impressive old mansion, home to one of the largest land owning families in the county--or rather it used to be.  In the 1920s, the only son and heir of the family title, Maxwell Vanhorn, was engaged to be married to Adeline Marsh, a spoilt young woman looking to reclaim her family's lost fortune through a beneficial marriage.  The two couldn't be more different and their compatibility was awful, the fact that Maxwell was secretly carrying on a love affair with Hector Oliveira, his butler, was also a factor why they weren't a good match.  One day, Adeline caught her fiancé and his lover in a compromising position and flew into a rage, starting a fire in which the two men perished whilst she herself died shortly after from anger.  Since then the three of them have roamed the halls of the old manor, watching it fall into disrepair.

 

A century later, Arthur Keats, a professor at the University of Britechester bought the mansion and had it restored and has since moved in with his new wife (and former student) Vanessa Keats (nee Benton) and teenaged son from his first marriage Scott.  It wasn't long after moving in that Vanessa's brother Terrence had a bad break up with his boyfriend and was looking for a place to stay, so joined them in the mansion, seeing as how they have the room.  However, ever since Terrence moved in he's been feeling the presence of the former residents as well as experiencing a few unexpected (but enjoyable) bumps in the middle of the night.
