Hello all, I just posted a mod on Nexus and got this comment over there: - "Yo this will end up needing to go to LL. Pretty sure this will be taken down here."

So. Here I am! Newly registered. But sadly I was refused to upload my files. Maybe a moderator need to manually allow me to upload or something? Until then you can until Nexus terminate it download it from their place from this link:

Here is some facts about my mod:

 

By accident I discovered the mod Videos of the Wasteland and started thinking; - why not port some of my favorite media creators amazing work right into Fallout 4 as promotional material? Said and done. Currently 80+ minutes of pornography available. Do enjoy!

 

Porting over media content into the VotW (Videos of the Wasteland) format is the hardest thing I ever have done on a computer in my entire life. I guess that is me saying: - don't expect regular releases. Oh, to access this content you need to install the Videos of the Wasteland mod first. Also If you like an artists work please make sure to check out more of their content on the provided links.

VOTW files tend to be huge anyway, probably best to upload to mega.nz and link it.

I am in the middle of updating the mod to get even better video quality (10-40% better I think). I'll upload on a filehost and post links here when I am done. I also have contacted the two artists and requesting permission that way. But logically speaking. both of them upload on free to access PornHub so what issue could there be? I'll also keep making these VotW mods and I use the internal BA2 archives so my mods will overall only be 300MB each. The Drive-In content will be made and posted as separate mods.

 Hey can u tell me where i can get that holotape's i have installed them both but i cant see esp in game to get holotape or to craft them where they are ?

I was able to download all 3 files from the Nexus. A little confused. Your Starlite Drivein addon say I need the main file to get the holotapes but Vortex flagged both as being redundant (both were the same mod) Was I supposed to overide one with the other? (Vortex still flagged) In other words ,do I need all 3 files to work?

Sure! First of all you need

1) https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24435

2) If you want the Drive-In you need to download the addon

3) Now you open in a settlement the crafting screen and move towards bottom right until you see a icon for Videos of the Wasteland

4) Craft the Holotape craftingstation

Now you can craft Holotapes under the XXX section, and film reels if you installed that mod.

 

I am currently making v1.1 of the mods where you will get way better video images. I'll upload to mediafire and send link here. Still got lots cleanup to do and testing. In some hours the new version should be up... if all goes as planned.

Vortex is (I'll take it gently) pure garbage! Anyways, you must install both. Let me explain. As I was starting to make this mod I was still very stupid and did not think on the end-size and now we are not speaking on male genitals but HDD space. So I had to separate the mod into 2 parts

1) The main mod is the holotapes and is fully stand alone

2) the Drive-In is for film reels and are also stand alone

3) Vortex is junk

Install both mods and you are golden

You need then to manually activate the mod. Make sure it's activate... If you use a normal mod manager your ini file should have this in it:

Example on location:

C:\Users\Sakura\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt

 

Inside plugins.txt you should see near bottom:

*VotW_XXX_001.esp <--- this is for the Videos of the Wasteland - XXX 001 - Janner3D
*VotW_XXX_001_Drive_In.esp <--- and this is my Drive_In mod
*VotW_XXX_002.esp <--- Videos of the Wasteland - XXX 002 - AgentRedGirl

 

notice the "*" inffront of a mod's name, that orders Fallout to actually load it. I am sure its not activate and looks like this in your ini file:

example:

*Automatron_Fix.esp
*SkyHQ.esp
*LootandScrap.esp
*Synth_Uniform_Lootable_Ballistic.esp
VotW_XXX_001.esp
VotW_XXX_001_Drive_In.esp
VotW_XXX_002.esp

 

so tell Vortex to do it's job right, and activate the mod = you will then have fallout 4 actually "load" it.

VotW_XXX_002.esp

 

can u post some pictures where i can find them because with some reason they dont exist in my game in esp explorer i cant find them and i activate them both in game and in mod manager !

Yes of course. I am a bit new on LL and it lacks some features I am used to from Nexus. But lets manage

I am soon done with last mod, then I must BA2 package them. All of you will get proper links soon...

 

Anyways, open the main mod RAR archive: and it should look like this inside it:

VotW - XXX 001 - v1.0.rar

Data <-- go in there

fomod <-- ignore this.

Inside Data you will see:

VotW_XXX_001 - Main.ba2

VotW_XXX_001 - Textures.ba2

VotW_XXX_001.esp <--- this is the file you want the game to load

 

Now, so you all know: you can manually install this mod easy:

1. Go to your fallout folder and into its Data folder, example:

E:\Games\Fallout 4\Data

 

Copy over VotW_XXX_001 - Main.ba2, VotW_XXX_001 - Textures.ba2 and VotW_XXX_001.esp

 

2. Go to the INI file, example: C:\Users\Sakura\AppData\Local\Fallout4

To get this easy, just past this into explorer:

3. open: plugins.txt

 

4. Add at bottom:

And I mention this again:

 

1. Videos of the Wasteland needs to be installed, and if you want to use film reels the addon - Starlight Drive-In Module v2.2.1 also needs to be installed.

 

2. In case you use Vortex that does it's own thinking versus the unofficial "Nexus Mod Manager" that anyone can get by clicking HERE, don't complain there will be issues with mod installs. to make a long story short about Vortex. It use does not physically copy the mods into the Fallout 4 data folder but makes "links". Vortex is to be seen as a unspecified gloryhole for males that don't care what's behind that hole even if it comes barks or moo noises from it. Modding is about control, and Vortex makes every effort in the world to "think" for you instead of doing a very simple job: - do what it was meant to do a) install mods b) lets the user decide load order c) make sex good again.

 

3. Now I'll sort some cool videos and prepare more VotW mods. And before you all ask, it takes hours and hours and even more hours to make a port. I am still amazed I managed to come this far with it. Down the road I'll get better at audio-sync.
