h0td0g Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Greetings,I’m starting up a Sims 4 models site (simbabe.com) and wondering if I can create models based on real actresses and perhaps even use their stage names. What is the legality of this? Are there any models that would be willing to allow this? It would be nice to have some “real” people to add to the website.Anyone have any insight on this?Thank you.

The only thing not allowed is to reupload / put behind paywall content that isn't yours, CCs in your case, without author agreement and/or giving him credits. Depends the TOU.

The content is all gathered from free places, the ones I do place custom skin state they can be re-skinned, and it’s going up on google drive for free, not doing this for money.
Crazy Doll Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 A sim is a sim nothing more, and even it's a perfect copy with the same name as a real person, it's a fictive creation. You won't have any pb. It's not like sharing photos or other things. Here, you create something with a model, but it's still a creation, you can do what you want with YOUR creation.
