adam875
So I downloaded Beeing female but the birthing animations don’t work. I know I have to update FNIS but problem is I have a bunch of animation mods. Last time I updated FNIS my character was T posing and I needed hours to figure out what was wrong. How can I test this without ruining my game? Should I create a duplicate of my game in another folder and test it on the original? Thank you Link to comment
Brisl
without FNIS use the being female animation will not work Link to comment
adam875
I know that lol. I am asking to see if there’s a way to experiment updating FNIS on my original game vs my copy. Do I have to put the copy in another folder? Link to comment
Brisl
mmm whats modmanager you use ? With MO2 u can create a new profile and can test it ... with nmm a copy of your gamefolder and a backup of nmm virtual folder is sure the better option to test it Link to comment
adam875
I was using nexus mod manager but now it’s not compatible with my game , it says there’s error with my path for mods, so I just started manually downloading mods to the game. I’m not using any type of mod manager now Link to comment
Brisl
mmm at this point a backup is sure advised if all your mods and tool data stored in your game installation path. Then is the best to create a backup of your skyrim install and test it ...if something get weird u can copy it back Link to comment
adam875
Do I just copy the data folder that has all my mods? Or the entire game? And which folder should I put it in. So when I update the game it doesn’t update the copy too? Link to comment
