HoodedGamer Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 I am trying out Flower Girl at the moment and was wondering what the real difference is as both give you adult scenes, both have their own amorous adventure, both have npc relations in some way, and both have expanded on world material like the bath house or devious devices. So what is the difference? The level of hardcore, the fact one lets every beast in the realm take you for its personal toy? I can already tell there are a lot less animations. Not that that is bad thing. So far after a fresh install of things and making sure bodies were set up right the animations seem to line up better but that could just be me. Would have to do a fresh install/sexlabs and see if they match up.
spoonsinger Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Sexlab is an API framework, Flowergirls isn't. That's to say mods have to be created to use Sexlab functionality. This of course allows infinite flexibility. With Flowergirls you are basically stuck with what you've got. Although you can get it to run certain animations from your own mods, those animations are always the ones which have been programmed into Flowergirls. Nothing wrong with either way of doing things. (I use Sexlab in LE and Flowergirls in SSE). I would probably say that Flowergirls is very much a drop in and go type of thing and Sexlab is for the more tailored experience.

I can agre with the tailored experience thing especially seeing as there aren't any "of the deep type" type add ons after you get Flower Girls Se. The most intense thing I found so far are slave lovers.
LadySkyrim Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 As of 1/5/2022, Flowergirls is preferable to me rather than Sexlab simply because of the updates mismatching on Papyrus, the animations, etc. I also got tired of worrying about turning off updates in Steam because Windows updates these days fuck up my game default keybinds, INCLUDING THIS I believe. So I have a non-Steam version at 1.6.342 for the rest of time despite. I spend hours and days and weeks on mods, but this is once headache I'd rather not get into when it comes to the "getting the sex stuff out of the way so I can get on with my Skyrim life". As if it ever ends lol
