Massive Amount of Weapons Pack

WARNING: I AM NOT THE CREATOR OF THIS MOD. THIS IS A RE-UPLOAD.

What is it?:
This mod is a gigantic pack of tactical style weapons that can be found throughout the Mojave and there is a merchant who sells all of the available weapons located in Freeside. There are over 100 weapons available to find in the game. This will also add a shop next to the Vikki & Vance casino is Feeside. There is also an armory that contains all of the weapons and tons of ammo in the bathroom of the Presidential Suite in the Lucky 38 (Thats where you find the door to the armory). I must warn that the armory is a little buggy because of all the weapons and ammo in it so it is prone to CTDs when trying to enter and exit it.

Where it came from:
This was originally on Nexus and about a week after I had downloaded this mod it was removed (stupid F%#$ing Nexus). The creator of the mod was Ahztek666 and I realize this brings the question of permission: I was unable to ask for permission because Ahztek666 is no longer taking private messages.

Installation:

 

Step 1:Download file from Mega.

Step 2:Import file into NMM (NMM is preferred as this is not tested with other mod managers)

Step 3:Install mod and enjoy.

 

ALTERNATIVELY

Step 1: Same as above.

Step 2: Unpack archive.

Step 3: Drop files into your game folder.

Step 4: Overwrite any previous version of the mod.

 

Please report any bug to me so I can try to fix it. I have attempted to make sure there are no bugs but I am not perfect. Also, this is a very large mod and when combined with other very larges mods, it is known to cause some performance issues (stuttering and slowing down).

I changed the upload links so please let me know if you are having any more trouble getting them work. I am not sure what caused them to go wrong in the first place because they still seem to work fine for me.

 

This time I changed the split into 2 files trying to make it a little easier as I still cannot load any file over 200mb in size on my mediafire account.

I have seen this problem before. It was a result of my graphics card I was using at the time not being strong enough to handle the textures. I am curious to know what graphics you have because that is one possibility. I recommend using at least a 512mb graphics card to handle the guns. 

 

Alternatively it could be that the textures are not installed for some reason. Unrar the two files to create the new single "data" folder. Inside it should be a folder that says "Textures". Check to make sure the download got all of the textures you should be able to see the path for the texture files that should be located in your NewVegas folder.  Check in your x86Prorgramfiles/steam/steamapps/common/falloutnewvegas/data/textures/weapons/Ahztek and there should be a bunch of folders located there with the textures for the guns. If you cannot see the textures then something went wrong with the installation and the textures may need to be installed manually.

 

Let me know if this helps or send me a little more info about what went wrong so that I might be able to find a solution.

I suggest reuploading but under a name that doesn't tell "This is 1 archive split in 2" and just tell us to rename it properly (i've seen this before and works just fine)

That is odd because because they actually did not inform me that split archives have limited downloads available but I will try to split it differently to fix that problem. I checked the link and it still worked for me so I don't understand what the problem was but the reupload should be done by in a few hours because I have a slow ass connection it takes like 1.5 hrs to upload a 200mb file.

This is awesome, but did it also add an armory to the Lucky 38? I have a mod that changes the Lucky 38 suite so now there is an armory door half-blocking another door. It's not a real big issue though, doesn't freeze the game unless I try to enter it.

I did not think that this mod added anything to the lucky 38 but I could be wrong. It seems that I find new stuff in this mod all the time so it would not surprise me if it did have an addon to the luck 38.

The animations are probably different though I think that overwriting the animations from my weapon pack with the ones from your link should be ok. I will have to test it a little to be sure, but unless your game breaks or the animations look really odd, I don't think it should cause a problem.

This looks like quite a comprehensive weapon pack, some of the models look very similar to Skree's BF2142 models, which if you have not found it for FO3, it is a smashing good mod. I am downloading this now, once I have it complete I will upload to my 4Shared account so we have another source. Great job on getting this together and making it available for us here on "LL".

Sorry about the delayed response. I have been away or purely focusing on Skyrim for a while.

 

To PhilMc2:

 I unfortunately do not have the esp that you are referring to. I got the mod about a week before it was removed and I was a super noob modder at that point. I am just glad I had enough sense to hold onto the file. I will go looking for the file but I don't know that I will be able to find it.

 

To A.J.:

I don't think that the AK-74u is the same but they are still very similar models which is to be expected. I got the feeling that Ahztek had taken some of the models for his weapon pack from other mods which is why his upload got removed so it is certainly possible. I would have the pull up both models in nifskope to know if they are identical and even then, it would still be a guess.

 

To carywinton:

I have not seen the mod you are referring to. I looked for it but I could not find it on the Nexus, do you have a link to it? I am glad that you have provided a second set of download links for the mod. I like to have a backup plan in case Mediafire takes a shit so I do appreciate that.
