How to find out what face non-unique NPC uses?

Hey,

is there any way to find out what custom face random generated NPC uses? I have tried to search it with ID and BaseID numbers but those change every time I relaunch the game (it seems game just generates NPC on fly). I tried to search with NPC visual transfer tool but no luck. I find all my mods with the visual transfer tool but I have no idea how to find that specific face.

I could try go through like 200+ different nif files but that's extremely tedious and doesn't seem to be that reliable anyway... Is there way to copy NPC face to PC on the fly or take control of NPC in game (like oldrim had)?

If you know which NPC it is, is it a standard game NPC or a follower / companion?

If it is a follower it is quite simple:
You have to inspect the follower folder, view the various details (hairstyle, eyebrows etc), make sure you have everything you need.
After doing this from the follower folder you have to look for the following files:
Meshes, actors, character, facegendata, take the nif with the ID
Textures, actors, character, facegedata, take the DDS with the ID.
Then just copy both files to Skyrim Data folder> Skse> Plugins> CharGen (if you miss this folder, generate it , and inside you will generate another folder by naming it Presets)
Once glued, you rename them as you like.
In game Racemenu alternative> sculpture> import nif renamed, at this point you just need to add the missing details (eyes, hair, etc) to have your PG as the NPC.
At the end you can also save the preset obtained by naming it as the sculpture.

It is random guard.
