i have been trying for hours to figure out how to install sexlab on my skyrim se and how to use it, i have tried looking at many many many articles but nothing is working, i tried using votrex and i tried just putting the files in other places. i havent modded before and i genuinely dont know what im doing and theres nothing out there that is seeming to work for me, i either have something outdated or this and that and there is always just some problem. so im asking, how do i install sexlab? how does it work? when i do it how do i even do anything in game?

 

also, my errors consist of outdated versions, everyone standing completely still, and the best one, nothing happening, just it not working and i have no idea why. if anyone has an updated video or something that can just help me out, it would be greatly appreciated, i am lost and just want to know what im doing, thanks again.

If everyone is standing still that usually means that you haven't run FNIS. 
I don't use Vortex, I use MO2, so I don't know the intricacies of it. Have you successfully installed any mods before? How did you install Vortex? Did you follow any video guides? Maybe it is your Vortex setup that is messed up.
Is your SKSE64 up to date? Sadly SE gets updated frequently and that breaks SKSE64 and in turn updates to SKSE64 break mods. 
Also, I just remembered something my friend did, make sure you are not mixing LE files with SE.

i watched this video, and tried it and after video 2 the errors occured, also, i even reinstalled the game like 10 min ago. i dont even mind using anything i just want the mods, is there any articles/ videos that you used? because everything that im doing doesnt seem to be working.

Mine is LE but i'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume the process is same for SE. I'm not an expert either so eh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

First game install.

Then set up a good mod manager. Something that gives you a detailed structure to work with. I'd recommend MO2.

Then you install stuff like skeletons, body, bodyslide and SKSE.

Then you get the SkyUI.

Then you install FNIS and to be safe have the creature pack installed too.

Then you run bodyslide and build the body.

Then you open the game for a bit, make sure everything's working properly.

Then you save at a point where you don't have to rewatch the long intro anymore (i recommend inside the helgen fort once you escape with either of the two dudes)

Then you close the game and install Sexlab.

Then you install a sex animation mod and all it's dependencies.

Then you run FNIS and do the update behavior with the correct checkboxes ticked.

Then you run the game.

Then you wait for the MCM to register Sexlab in the menu.

Then you go into Sexlab and install it there. It'll tell you to close the menu and wait for a bit.

Then you'll see some notifications on the top left corner of the screen on stuff getting installed before you see Sexlab (version) is ready.

And that should do it.

 

Just take the thing and do the thingy, easy peasy and measy with all the cheesy. See if you run into any further problems.

Oh yeah, that's really important, install the mods little by little, and test in intervals. And yes, this takes time, so be patient and test after every few relevant steps. 

I used Gopher's video guide, but for MO (later MO2), that really got me started with my basic modding framework.

I'm with @Mr.Otaku, in that I use LE instead of SE, so we are guessing that what worked for us will work for you.
