Make follower talk to each other?

I have been trying to create a scene where one follower acknowledge the other follower and the two talk, but I have been failing to make it work.

When I arrive in figure 11, the "dialogue" option after "new action" appears greyed-out.

At the start of the tutorial, the author says: "If you want your follower(s) to initiate scene dialog, you will need to insure that their follower package has the dialog scene checkbox enabled."

However, I cant find this "dialog scene checkbox" in the AI follower package. Its not in the flags tab, nor in the public package tab. And if I try to edit the sandbox is not there either.

 

Do any of you know of another tutorial which can point me in the right direction?
