recster Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Hi guys, I know I'm a little late to the party, but I'm new here and this is my first time using mods for Oblivion. Was playing Skyrim and felt nostalgic, so I came back to ol' IV and decided to try out the infamous Lovers mod. Basically, most of it works well, except for a few problems I have: 1) When mounted by a dog in LoversBitch, the default "standing" animation plays for both the dog and the PC. However, the dog animations do work on other occasions, such as if i summon. All other creature animations work perfectly. Googling has led me to the conclusion that it might be because I'm missing a little file called LoversCreatureIdleAnimsPriority.esp, but I can't seem to find this anywhere for download. Does anyone know which pack it comes in? 2) LoversPayBandit. I haven't met any bandits yet, but when I get arrested, I get an option to "pay in person", but when I select it, nothing happens. The guard walks off. 3) LoversRapeStruggle crashes the game no matter where I put it in the load order. I've optimised my load order according to gregathit's PLEASE READ post, but there are some that aren't in the list so here I am. I've also disabled StupidNPC until I download Beautiful People, which is happening a bit later because I've a lousy connection. Oh, one last thing: I've been using a mod in Skyrim that basically "masculinizes" the leveled enemy lists, which means that if I meet a bandit, it's a 100% chance that it's male. Is there something like this for Oblivion or something I can edit? (I'm not a modder. Don't even know how to open an ini. yet.) Thank you in advance.

If it asks what you want to open it in, select "Notepad". 1) I've heard that going to the console, selecting the dog, and typing "update3d" will fix this. 2) It might help if you move your Lovers with PK mods down your list, so that they're loaded first. Your DLCs should be above your Lovers mods, at least. Masculine level lists: I'd like to see this myself! I haven't seen one, though.
gregathit Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Hey recster, welcome to the forums. 1. There is no such file, nor has there ever been. Instead what you need is the latest and greatest LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp - which you can get by installing Donkey's New and Improved animations pack: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=184 2. Pay in person is not an option that pay bandits includes. It does have a pay with your body option which will trigger a sex scence if the guard is willing. If you don't see that option you might have a mod conflict. 3. Rape Struggle requires PK extender (it says this right in the OP). It also says that it doesn't work well with the new version of PK extender, which in turn probably isn't going to work if you are running rev 96 of lovers with PK. Bottom line, it is a plugin that probably isn't going to work regardless of what you do. At least until someone updates it. Reading the OP for these plugins (especially the requirements) will save you a lot of frustration. Other notes: LoversSTVictims.esp <--this requires lovers slave trader. Unfortunately it requires a very old version of it (0.5 or earlier) which we no longer have on the forum. It is a very old plugin and it may not work well with the current versions of lovers with PK and\or lovers creatuers. The current version of this plugin is called Bravil Underground. Note that Bravil UG has significant requirements. The games "official" DLC should be up towards the top of your load order and NOT down at the bottom. These three plugin should be at the bottom of you load order to make sure nothing interferes with lovers: LoversMB2.esp LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp

It's dang difficult to find gay male content on Skyrim (there's a lot of skimpy female content), which is why I headed back here, so now I'm happy. I'm going to do some research on the leveled lists and see if I can tweak something or other. Need more males. @gregathit: Thank you kind sir, you've just saved me another migraine. The load of content on this site can be slightly overwhelming, so thanks for clearing up everything I missed. I've disabled RapeStruggle and Victims, though I do have SlaveTrader. It's just too much for now, and I might try to integrate some more mods later on. The animations were superb, they work brilliantly now. 0 other problems so far. Great site by the way. Thanks for all your help, and will probably be back.

I can send some (revealing) male armour replacers for Skyrim your way, if you'd like. Thing about Lovers mods is they're not really aimed at male/male encounters. They work, certainly! But a tad too many female NPCs, I think.

Everything between aoki, slof, and a few others. Unless you have more? Yeah, I realised, but it works well enough. I've tweaked Lovers Settings to only involve male, so at least that's good to go. By the way, do you happen to know of any revealing clothes/armour mod replacements for Oblivion? I looked up Slof's work but her TESIV work is really colourful. Can't find anything else though.

Orc Armour Sundracon Dragon Plate armour And a variety of VERY revealing armours, hosted on LoversLab itself For Oblivion, Aoki has done some, Slof.. If you haven't, might check out Slof's collaboration work? Room207 has some KingTitan modified some of Room207's work There's Aoki's revealing robes, or my own revealing robes. I started working on a revealing clothing replacer, but I haven't gotten very far with it so far, and haven't really worked on it recently. Tha's 'bou' all I can think of. You know anything good? :B Edit: Oh, I forgot the Ayleid armours.

I'm still looking myself, but I have found a few good (but small) replacers: Male Arena Raiment Replacer Skimpy Upper Class Clothes And if you have Shivering Isles: Kikai's Male Dark Seducer Armour Still lookin' though . Doubt there are many we missed between two posts though, sadly. Now I'm trying to get this savegame Masculine High Elf to work but it keeps crashing ugh.

Thanks ^^ UC replacer replaces the same meshes as Aoki's or mine, and shows a bit more flesh* than I'd like. Right now I'm using Slof's Arena Raiment replacer, which I think I like a bit more. For the Masculine High Elf, you could import the face with Wrye Bash? *And paradoxically, not enough! Silly underwear.
recster Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 Aw man...and here i thought it was going well. I appear to be missing some files again, for some reason. I'm getting a few error screens when specific rape animations between two humans are picked: xLoversPkrGetMotionParamBySPosIndex not found SPos=42 So far it seems like positions 25, 52, 40~48 are gone. Might be more though. Others work fine, it depends on luck whether the missing ones are picked or not. I feel like I need to re-download an animation pack but I don't know which one. I haven't replaced any files though. Any ideas?
vashar Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I recommend The Daedra Sutra. Either just find and use the animation you need, or do what I did and overhaul the animations and select one of everything.
