IOkami Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 So basically what's happening is that when I try to install the mod, it doesn't seem to install correctly. I download the ww folder into the mods map, unzip it and then clicking the "optional windows auto installer" which then creates a duplicate of the WickedWhimsMod folder containing the turbodriver_script and turbodriver_tuning outside of the WW folder, so basically a folder in the mods folder and one already in the WW folder. So what happens is that when I start up the game is that I get an error message telling me that there's two files because there's a file in the mods folder and another one in the WW folder, I've tried deleting one of them, then both, but then nothing works. I have the newest version of the mod (22.11.19(, and it has worked perfectly fine before, but now it just seems to not do something right when installed or if I just don't know what to do. Anyways, I'll be very grateful for any answer to this problem I get. or if anyone else has experienced the same.

DarkAudit Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 The auto installer is just a batch file that copies the WickedWhimsMod folder to your mods folder. If you already extracted to your mods folder, there's no need to run the installler. You already did its job. I use WinRAR 5.70. I download the archive and click on the download from chrome to open it it WinRAR. Then I highlight the WickedWhimsMod folder in the archive and click Extract. I tell the extract dialog to extract to my Documents\Electronic Arts\Sims4\Mods folder. The WickedWhimsMod folder is then placed exactly where I need it.
