Elizinator Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 ive been fumbling in the dark for days trying to fix this, and im at wit's end, i have inconsistent attack speeds in my game when dual-wielding as a vampire. the only mods i have that affect DW are Better Vampires and Ordinator, as a nightlord, i have +15% attack speed at all times. when using a single weapon, that works as intended. the problem is when i try dual-wielding. with the two ravage perks from ordinator, i ought to have 35% increase attack speed, for a total of 50% increase. i have never seen that value. ive seen a whole bunch of others though. 250% is common, and that is the famous attack speed stacking bug. Better Vampires is supposed to have a fix for that, but the fix is wrong. instead of giving me the intended values, my DW speed drops to 135% - as if i only had the ordinator perks, and not the vampire bonus - and my single weapon speed drops to 1.0 - again, the 15% from being a nightlord just goes away. ive tried opening BV in xEdit, but i dont know what im doing when it comes to this. ive tried screwing with the conditions in the spell effect, but the base version makes zero sense to me. in fact, it looks wrong. given that i use better vampires and ordinator, i find it very difficult to believe that nobody else has this problem. maybe they simply havent noticed the incorrect attack values. all i know is that the fix provided with better vampires does NOT work as intended. what im really asking for is help in editing the effects in better vampires to properly adjust attack speed settings. i tried making conditions that increased speed by 1.15 if my base attack speed is lower than 1, and 0.15 when it is higher than 1, but that produced exactly the opposite result - DW gave me an insane 2.65 speed, and single weapon had 0.15 =/
